Did you had the possibility to take pictures? We are from Antwerp and we have a huge McCartney and Beatlescollection ... when you're in the neighbourhood jump in and have a look at it... you're welcome! Hello to you all beatlesfans, mccartneyfans and musiclovers! My name is Janien, I am 56 and happily married with Berre for many many years. The beatles were never in Belgium so we could not see them life then ... we listen to their music on 45T records en put posters against the wall of our teenagerrooms. And then in 1972 Paul came with Wings to Antwerp ... wow what a feeling. We stood on the first row ... then we were young, so much younger then today. Then life changed a lot, went to the university, get married, got two wonderful daughters, was a proffessor in the social high school ... my husband runs marathons, played tennis, worked very hard ... and then he went on retiring. Wow ... what shall I do with all that free time??? His answer ... we got kept a lot of records (beatles - wings - stones - ...) from the sixties, the seventies and now I am gonna collect anything Beatlesrelated and Beatles solo. So we went to fairs, beatlesdays, watch to see beatlescovergroups all over ... and yep it was fun doing that and it still is. And we have now a huge collections (if you have some time go and visit www.berresbeatlescollection.be of see at the albums on fb (janien colans)) A while ago our oldest daughter decided to step out of life, she was 30 and took suicide. This was for us a very sad moment and it is still. I try to accept her decision but my husband cannot give this tragedy in his life ... But the beatlesmusic is a big help for him! So last week when Paul McCartney came to Antwerp we went to the concert and yep this was a real positive injection for him (and for me). We enjoyed the concert ... and hope to see him again soon ?! I am very active on facebook (the beatles universe + beatlescollectors ... fans and lovers) and work as a volunteer for the dutch beatlesfanclub, day after day I am looking for interesting news about the beatles and the beatles solo and beatles related things .. and yeah there is still a lot of news! I love Paul and yep I love his band (Brian, Rusty, Paul, Abe)!!!! Thank you Egmont for showing me the way to this forum ... and yep I hope to meet here some warm tender big fans!!!
