RE: Only One- new song by Kanye West, featuring Paul
Arriving on download sites some time on Thursday, Only One is the first of several unexpected collaborations between Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Debuting at number 35 (15,058 sales) despite giving a head start to the rest of the chart, it may yet become West's 17th Top 10 hit and McCartney's 52nd. 72 year old Macca's last credited Top 10 appearance came in 1989 when he joined Gerry Marsden, Holly Johnson and The Christians for the all-Liverpool Hillsborough Disaster Fund charity single, Ferry Cross The Mersey, which reached number one. Prior to that, his last Top 10 entry was Once Upon A Long Ago, which reached number 10 in 1987.

RE: SECOND SINGLE FROM "NEW" - "QUEENIE EYE"
ewanme:
Queenie Eye doesn't seem to be picking up much airplay in the UK, is it actually an official single or just a featured album track? Also, just found out that 'New' reached number 9 in the Japanese singles chart...
Next week is Queenie eye the single of the week by BBC2

RE: New in the Charts Thread
Rock legend Paul McCartney enters at No. 3 with his new studio album, "New." It sold 67,000 copies in its first week. It's the 19th top 10 set for the Beatle, counting his solo work and releases with Wings (but not his Beatles material). The "New" album is his first of all-new songs since 2007's "Memory Almost Full" debuted and peaked at No. 3 with 161,000. After that, he issued the mostly-covers album "Kisses on the Bottom" in 2012, which debuted and peaked at No. 5 off a 74,000 start.

RE: New in the Charts Thread
There is no change at the top of the French albums chart as Stromae spends his eighth non-consecutive week at Number One with Racine Carrée in his ninth week inside the top 10 (33,946 sales / -21%). New debuts at number two for Paul McCartney with 10,321 sales. The new LP is Paul McCartney?s highest-charting solo album ever ! But we can notice that the first French albums chart was only published in January 1985, and it was a monthly Top 20. New is his third top 10 album in the 21st century, Chaos And Creation In The Backyard reached number three in September 2005, and Kisses On The Bottom entered and peaked at four in February 2012 with 11,563 copies sold. In her second week on the chart, Hélène Segara slips one place at three with Et Si Tu N?Existais Pas (8,544 sales / -19%).

RE: KOTB charting
I'll hazard a guess. 8: KOTB has been out for 8 weeks 63: Three weeks ago KOTB was at No. 63 on Billboard 85: Two weeks ago it was at No. 85 60: Last week it jumped back up to No. 60 7,746: That's how many copies it sold last week (when it was back up to No. 60) 57: I have no idea 4,926: That's how many copies it sold 2 weeks ago when it was at No. 85 191,075: This is the total number of copies sold in the U.S. since it's release* *Pretty good for an album of jazz standards that half of his fan base doesn't like. 57% up from last week
