Denny Laine is in town for the Paul concerts and rumor is he'll be joining Paul on stage.
He's probably in town for BeatleFest. Cool!
Yup and I think he's playing a solo date or two while in Chi-town too. It'll be interesting to see if Denny will be on stage. I'm guessing no but hey stranger things have happened.

Show number 9. What can I say? The man puts on an incredible show and for three hours transports you into a magical mystery tour filled with timeless music. You feel like all the problems that you're dealing with in this crazy thing we call life are gone and for that brief moment in time, all that matters is Paul McCartney's music. It was certainly a thrill here in the heart of the country. Thanks again Paul, Rusty, Brian, Wix and Abe. See you next time!

Saturday night, I saw Paul McCartney in concert for the 8th time. Every time you see the man in the flesh, new memories and special moments are born. This time around, Paul was playing in St. Louis at Busch Stadium, where my favorite baseball team (STL Cardinals) plays. That was special because I had seats on the field so I had to walk on the infield dirt and outfield grass in order to get to my seat. That's probably the only time I'll ever be on the field at Busch so that was an awesome experience. The concert was absolutely incredible as always. I got to hear Paul play one of my favorite Wings songs, Letting Go which I never thought I'd get to hear him perform. The boys were on form all night and kept the crowd rocking from beginning to end. It's a 3 hour trip where you're just there living in the moment of that man's beautiful music that's meant so much to so many people over the past however many years. Getting to meet new people at shows is great too because we're all like one big happy McCartney family who are there for the love of the music. All the stress and worries of every day life goes away when you're at a Paul McCartney show. It's a surreal experience and it's one I never get tired of. It's certainly a thrill and as always, can't wait till next time!

Puppy whimpers, some people were told that they can print out their tix after 8 PM on 4/28. Not sure if you can but if so you could overnight the tix to someone. Hope this helps. Hate to see a tix go to waste. Also I heard that Ticketmaster will buy back a person's tix. Not sure if this is true or not.
They do but not sure how close to show time they do it. Normally paperless are almost impossible to transfer to someone. otherwise the scalpers would be buying even more of them than they already do and it would defeat the purpose. You really do need a credit card for entry, so selling them is tough if you cant sell to someone you know who you can trust with your card. And I don't know about being able to print paperless, I've never heard of that. You can try calling TM customer service and pleading your case (give them a really good reason why you can't go) and see if they can refund your sale. Good luck!
I tried calling Ticketmaster this morning, but no luck on a refund for this venue. At first she told me I could return my two extra tickets. I was shocked at that, but once she looked at the tickets/venue, she said no. Makes sense based on the "no ticket" policy. I thought it was worth a try. I want to get rid of brokers as much as anyone, but this policy doesn't seem to be working for them because they are still selling tickets. In fact, they must have paper tickets because I saw UPS delivery listed on one site??? It's my own fault, but I have two extra tickets in Row 5 floor that I'm trying to sell. I thought it would be easy to sell tickets this good, but not going well so far. It's tricky given the policy, but I will want cash for the tickets before we walk in. They will have to walk in with me....I'm not handing my credit card to anyone I don't know well. All I want is what I paid, $280 each, if anyone is interested. This is a dilemma I never expected to have in a million years! LOL!! I upgraded to Row 5 and then Row 2 pops up 2 days later. I've never been this close, other than the VIP 3rd row package once.
I have a friend who is very interested in purchasing these from you, PM me

RE: crying during Pauls concerts
The na na na na Hey Jude singalong has gotten to me a few times. The overwhelming sense of togetherness is very touching.

A little over a year ago, I mixed a fantasy live-version of "Wino Junko." Not my best work, but it gives an idea of what it might've sounded like in concert on the '76 Wings tour:

We have to remember, in the early to mid 1970s, there was no Beatles nostalgia. And musicians like Henry McCullough, Denny Seiwell, Joe English, and Jimmy McCulloch were not fans of McCartney, rather they were working musicians. It is clear they wanted to have artistic input and make money and have careers. Henry and Denny, it seems, left because they were not making the money they were promised. Joe and Jimmy ended up leaving too, shortly after a hugely successful world tour. Why? Whatever Jimmy's personal demons, history has shown that there is little outsiders can do to help. A sad end to a brilliant guitar player.
Here is what a source who spent time with Wings on the 1976 American tour told me in regards to Jimmy. "As a musician, brilliant and dedicated, Jimmy excelled or Paul would've never had him in Wings. But he was frustrated and often expressed that feeling over the complete musical control that Paul had in the band. Hear him 'live', playing his own composition Medicine Jar and that gives you an idea of how he could rock given his own head."

Just a thread to appreciate wee Jimmy's incredible musical ability and for all his contributions to Paul's music. Absolutely no negative talk in regards to drugs or his passing please. Focus on the positive aspects
You're really smitten over this guy; but what woman wouldn't like long hair on a rock star in the 70's. Too bad Jim's career & resume were very short. Watching "Rock Show" you really notice how emaciated he was. What's sad is that the other members of Wings watched him deteriorate & didn't help him.
I'm not a woman
