Using that logic they shouldn't have asked Paul given that he's a vegetarian.

I've given up on paul coming to Oz and am moving to London!!! Lol...nah I'm not moving there to see Paul but I have to say that the prospect of seeing Paul at some point does brighten my mood when thinking of the crappy winters over there!

You know I can understand why Ringo and George chose not to play with Paul at Live Aid. It was only four years from Johns death, I don't think it would have been the right time to do that. I don't think either of them would have ment it as a snub to Paul, Bob Geldof or the Live Aid cause. 20 years on I think that Ringo should have been asked. We don't know though...maybe U2 had some say in the matter also.

I don't think so...certainly not in this format. They would know each other from the original Live Aid but they didn't do a duet as such and doing such an iconic song also.

I think Bono was nervous. I suspect that Paul was a hero of his when growing up and anyone would be nervous when playing with a major musical influence such as Paul.
