Can I ask a related question? I'm going VIP (along with a friend) for the first time, to the Montreal show. I am very psyched!! How/when will we receive the details of admission to the sound check? I know there's a specified entrance and a specified time, but how are we notified about that? Does the information come from Paul's organization or the venue? And do people bring signs to the sound check (or is that frowned upon)?

RE: Montreal, QC - Bell Centre- 9/20- CONFIRMED
I just called Ticket Master (twice) and Evenko to try to clarify what's going on with the Montreal show. The reps at Ticket Master both said there is no AmEx presale, only the verified fan presale. One of them told me the verified fan presale is on Tuesday, the other said Friday. The rep at Evenko was more helpful. He said there is an AmEx presale on Tuesday at 10 AM and it will be accessible through the Evenko website. So I'm taking him at his word and will try for that on Tuesday. One thing seems certain: to buy tickets for the Montreal show, you have to open an account on the Evenko site. So be sure and register there! Don't rely on logging in from Ticket Master.

Does anyone know for sure whether the Montreal presale will be accessible through TicketMaster or Evenko? I'm planning to try for VIP tickets using my AmEx card. I assumed I'd do that TM on Tuesday at 10 AM until I saw the question raised here. Bob, do you know?

RE: Ticket questions
Thanks, everyone, for the info! Sounds like Hot Sound is the way to go. Am I right that the sound check usually takes place at about 5 PM? Or is earlier?

Ticket questions
Which of the VIP packages include admission to the sound check? Is it only the top level or the top two? I've never been to a sound check and want to get there this time! I'm not seeing any information about VIP packages yet on Paul's website or TicketMaster. I want to be geared up and ready to go on July 10 at 10 AM!

RE: Hamilton, Canada, FirstOntario Centre, July 21 - ARCHIVE
I agree -- the Hamilton show was marvelous! Paul did indeed seem to gain energy as the night went on. I've seen him several times but I don't think I've ever seen him so relaxed and playful. Selecting "A Hard Day's Night" as the opener was a stroke of genius. The audience was ecstatic and things only got better from there. Highlights for me were "In Spite of All the Danger" (which is now stuck in my head!), "You Won't See Me," "Can't Buy Me Love" (great pics of the Fab Four), and of course "Mull of Kintyre" -- always quite moving. I miss the excitement of the second encore but I keep reminding myself not to be greedy. Paul once again treated us to an incredible evening as only he can.

RE: Buffalo, NY- First Niagara Center - Oct. 22, 2015 - ARCHIVE
I have tickets for the Buffalo concert -- so psyched! What's the wisdom about the limo watch -- what time would Paul be expected, and where will fans be on the lookout for him? Is there a stage entrance for the First Niagara Center?

Whoops -- sent my message to the wrong forum! But I have tickets for Toronto, too, so I'll ask the same question here: What's the wisdom about the limo watch at the ACC?

RE: "Early Days" music video
I think the video is incredibly poignant. It suggests John and Paul's relationship without depicting it directly, in a very creative way that pays tribute to the music that brought them together. Beautiful camera work and directing. BTW, has anyone noticed that the younger of the two boys (the "Paul" character) plays guitar left-handed?

RE: Get Well Soon, Paul
Please, can someone translate this??!! I don't find anything else on line saying he has been admitted to hospital.

RE: Ottawa, Canada, Scotiabank Place, July 7th - ARCHIVE
I just posted this on the members' ticket exchange forum and will post it here as well. I have two extra tickets for the July 7 Ottawa show. These are top price ($275) floor seats: Section C, Row 34. I purchased them in the Capital Tickets presale but later was able to get seats in one of the side sections closer to the front, so won't be needing these. I will sell them for less than face value: $200 each plus postage. The tickets are hard copy, in hand and ready to mail. Please PM me if interested. I'd like someone to enjoy the show from these seats! Thanks!

Even more awesome would be if Paul sang "Birthday" and Ringo showed up! Just dreaming . . . . ! I'll settle for a pipe band and "Mull of Kintyre."

Thank you for that new link, oobu24! The film is showing in my city tomorrow!!

RE: Rockshow in Theatres
Is anyone else having trouble pulling up the list of theaters? After I click on the "Cinemas" button, I've tried entering my city and state but I get a "no postal code" message. Then I've tried entering my zip code (4 digit and 8 digit versions) and I still get the "no postal code" message. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I zoomed in on the seating chart and, yes, I can see the numbers. That's most helpful! Thank you! I would love to be up closer (wouldn't we all), but the way the tickets went -- like proverbial hotcakes --I feel lucky to have gotten in!! I last saw Paul in Toronto in 2010. I'm going to the Ottawa show with my sister, who hasn't seen him perform live since we saw the Beatles in Toronto in 1966!!! She is very excited!

RE: Ottawa, Canada, Scotiabank Place, July 7th - ARCHIVE
In my experience, floor seats generally provide a very good view of everything on the large screens. If you're close enough to the front, you'll also have a great view of "the real thing" (Paul!) on stage. If you're toward the back of the floor section, you'll be relying more on the screens. But the stage should be high enough that you can actually see it, even from farther out.

I'm interested in the floor configuration at the Scotiabank Place, too. I was able to get tickets on the floor in section C, row 34, and I'm wondering how far back this is. Anyone know how many rows in total there are in the floor section (not counting the continuous section in the front)? I would have preferred a 100 section close to the stage but I feel lucky to have gotten these tickets at the venue pre-sale. (I had no luck at all at Paul's website pre-sale) . So, we'll be there!!!

RE: Pre-Sale
I'm already registered on the website, so I'm ready to go. But I was confused about references to a password. Glad to know there isn't one involved. Would you recommend taking the first set of tickets that comes up (I need four), or trying a couple of times in the hope of a better set? I will be trying for the top price tickets. I don't want to miss out entirely!

Pre-Sale
I'm hoping to get tickets for Ottawa at tomorrow's pre-sale. I've seen references to a password. Can anyone tell me if there is a password involved and at what point it's given to you? Other than that, I think I understand the process. I wish there were an AmEx pre-sale for this show! I'm an old hand at that. Thanks for any help!
