He's touring because he's looking for someone : "I'm looking for you, that's right That's all I do I've been to many places around the world I've studied many faces of every little boy and girl But I'm looking for you Just looking for you... Let me tell you, baby, the earth ain't flat..." Well, but seriously, thanks God he's still touring as we, former USSR people, still hope that we'll know how lucky we are when he's back to Russia or Ukraine with a concert one day.

RE: I LOVE POEMS
Dear quail, it's such a pleasure to read your beautiful poems, especially about one musical Genius from Liverpool. Thank you for sharing your stories with us. Your metaphors are so expressive, wow, like this one: '...your kindness soft chestnut glaze in full bloom...' And your new poem about addiction is wonderful. Recently I woke up with a great song "Free As A Bird" playing somehow inside my head and it was pleasant to find out that on that day you posted a poem about: " 'Don't worry I've not come to steal them' she whispered through the pain of her grasp for these emeralds belong to the free birds and now we are free at last"

RE: I LOVE POEMS
SurSteven:
Our common sentience and similar life experiences seem to bind us. Is WATER LOW on Youtube? You should tell me of your thoughts and ponderings on spiritual progression some time.
Absolutely agree. And here's the information about WATER LOW http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=90578 Would be interesting to talk with you about spiritual progression as well!

RE: I LOVE POEMS
Wow, just so wonderful poems, dear quail! I always wonder how we can find something close to our hearts in someone else's creativity - songs, poems, movies... Thank you for the aesthetic pleasure!

RE: Songs You Would Like Paul to Cover
SusyLuvsPaul Interesting suggestion about Brian Wilson. Well, I can imagine Sir Paul doing anything - any song of any genre, but of course in his own special style. From Brian Wilson catalogue I'd like to hear also 'Dream Angel' 'Dream angel in my arms With just one smile you can take my heart away... Feel me I'm always by your side...'

RE: Songs You Would Like Paul to Cover
Interesting question! Well, the first song that came to mind was "In Your Room" by Depeche Mode. I remember Mr. McCartney said he liked this band (in some TV program in 90ies). I just like when he sings with intonation of passion, power, obsession and some magical darkness. I'm hanging on your words Living on your breath Feeling with your skin Will I always be here "Only when I lose myself", "Surrender" or anything from albums "Ultra" and "SOFAD" would be great too.

Thank you, dear quail, for taking your time to put the words of "Struggle' in proper context for me. I liked your understanding of this song.

RE: Ms Trust
Thank you, dear quail, for the magical moon and for your wishes!

RE: woman
He is the best storyteller, yeah, and he's talking about Kanye West. Oh this accent I'd listen forever Actually, yes, I have a problem understanding English Can I ask you, please, to tell me what are the words in 'Struggle' at the end of the song? (my fav song on New album!) 'I want you too if you want me I want you to do ... yesterday in dream It's the same way You could have it now .... ....' :

RE: Ms Trust
Very beautiful poem, I just love it. I can feel in this poem an aching from being without someone dear for a long time , but together in dreams . According to the quantum physics our reality and our dreams have much in common, so 'While we're sleeping we can learn to see that... All the world's a tiny bubble floating inside the truth' Well, tonight is my turn to look out for the moon and think of your words, dear quail.

RE: connection
Dear quail, so good to read your new poems here! I think it's very honest lines, I like them. 'identify with you all' - so true words. 'accept me as I am' - I think it's very good to accept someone as he/she is - maybe not to wait that someone will change to please us, but to serve for this someone, to give and to give without expectation.

RE: Sweet memories of friends from the past
Thank you, dear quail, for your understanding and for helping me to analyze this situation now even better.

Thank you, dear quail, for your wonderful poem, I'll cherish it. So you got to art college, wow, cool. I'm just so much obsessed with Mr. McCartney's songs that everything always reminds me one or other of his songs Hope to read more of your poems!

RE: we're on tonight
'...im just the joker who feels pain...' These words I like especially.

RE: woman
Glad to see that Magritte's picture (one of Mr. McCartney's favourite painters) on my avatar inspired you for a beautiful poem! Thank you, I liked it! And don't know why but the images in your poem reminded me one great song of one Great Musician 'I thought I saw your shadow in an old doorway... The earth ain't flat, I finally made the decision, and that is that. And now I know, there's only one place to be, You know where that place is, yeah, for you to be with me...'

RE: Only One- new song by Kanye West, featuring Paul
Well well well In this 'All Day' collaboration I liked Mr McCartney's artistic vocal expressiveness (somewhat of sharp, edgy, passionate, drive, dominant - energetically, as I feel it). And the whistling was wonderful
