RE: Paul, on your next tour, please come to ____________ .
If Paul really wants to play at unfamilar venues, then he needs to play at a few arenas in countries that he either has never visited or that he has not visited in the last 20 years or so.

"...Just to let you know, Maggie Mays are also excited about Paul coming to Glasgow and are planning an after show party at the club, which is open until 3. More details will be posted on their website nearer the time. .." Awesome!!! I have a feeling it's gonna be an exhausting weekend, pub on Fri, pub on Sat, Paul on Sun, pub on Sun. I'm gonna crash in the plane on my way home. Maybe I should take Tues off as well...
I'de feel more comfortable if you said fall asleep on the plane
I'm still undecided about Macca in Glasgow, to much work stuff around that time and I am potentially on night shift the night before boo (so I'll def miss Revolver) It is however getting closer. I cant believe how soon it is. Also in the case of Hampden there are only two concerts on there this summer which seems less than usual (the other being Pink the week after Paul)
Now the entire concert is jinxed!

Pittsburgh Pirates Rumors Pirates Release Ramon Vazquez By Tim Dierkes [April 8, 2010 at 12:53pm CST] The Pirates unconditionally released infielder Ramon Vazquez, according to a team press release. Vazquez had been designated for assignment four days ago. The Pirates will assume Vazquez's $2MM salary, less the league minimum if another team signs him. MLBTR's Luke Adams looked at Vazquez's situation earlier this week, noting that he should have value to a few clubs at the league minimum salary. The 33-year-old hit .230/.335/.279 last year in 239 plate appearances, playing second base, shortstop, and third base and dealing with a knee injury. GM Neal Huntington's plan when signing Vazquez in December of '08 may have been to find a credible back-up middle infielder in case the team traded Freddy Sanchez and/or Jack Wilson. But you have to question his $4MM commitment to Vazquez, a journeyman platoon player who still didn't hit lefties in his career year '08 season. Veteran in-fielder 67-year-old Paul McCartney will replace Vazquez until next year's draft produces another viable candidate at Shortstop.

RE: Fans over 50?
Even though I'm 51 and saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 I'm probably a 2nd generation Beatles fan because I first bought Let It Be in 1971 or so. I immediately bought the other Beatles albums from Rubber Soul onwards and also the solo projects by John and Paul up through Wings at the Speed of Sound and Milk and Honey. I remained loyal to John even after he died on my birthday in 1980, but lost interest in Paul until much later when he released Flaming Pie. Now I am quite impressed with Paul's recent body of work and was thrilled to see him in concert twice in 2005 and 2009. I would love to hear more Wings material, but would prefer to hear more recent material and obscure Beatles tracks.

Maybe Paul should fly down to Sydney for a vacation and do a stripped-down acoustic set at the Opera House?
I agree but he may as well do a tour while he's on vacation.
Would that still be a vacation?
