LOL!  Paul has Freshened Up his preshow music!

I can't complain. Happy he's still playing live. THANK YOU PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!

The hot sound package is expensive but it totally sounds worth it.  Is it ridiculous that I'm thinking of doing the front row package?  I'm 5'2 so being in the front row would allow me a more open view.  If its in the side sections on the floor like it said, is the view as good?  I've heard people say that the camera recording the video was in their way.

I would personally never pay $2100 for a front row package. Unless you by some miracle get a high (#14) seat in sec. F1 or a low (#1) seat in sec. F3. That would place you close to center. And you are correct, the camera booms could block your view. Go for Hot Sound Package which was $1600 last year (don’t know what it is today) and try for seat in F2. My 3 SCs I have always been in F2 center section, either row 3 or 4. Fantastic view! I was dead center last year in 4th row!

I agree. I had 4th row center in 2013 and it was the best view I've ever had. Paid no where near $1,600 but I'd be willing too if I had to and had the money to do so.

I was front row at Lollapalooza inbetween Paul and Brian. A good view, but I might rather have been right in front of Paul 10 feet back from the baracade for a better view. Plus the stage was really hi hi hi at the festival. Much more so than an arena show. Can't complain. Best $100 I ever spent.

      Some good ideas here.

As far as the soundcheck in terms of saving his voice, as a singer, the soundcheck is necessary to warm up his voice for the concert. It actually helps.

My Valantine absolutley needs to go. It was really cool seeing the Grand Central Station version, but then he's playing the same old version on tour? Like one poster said, playing "Happy With You" off Egypt Station and dedicating that to Nancy is 100x better. That's probably my 2nd favorite song off ES.

In Spite Of All The Danger and 4/5 Seconds need to GO!!

Hopefully when the tour starts in the U.S. next year it will get a proper FRESHEN up. AHDN was a great opener, but it's time for a new one. I'd vote for Help!

I posted a set list awhile back, but I think Paul should play Despite Repeated Warnings. My favorite from ES. It could start at the grand piano, then Paul jumps down to the main mic with a guitar or bass, like he does with Golden Slumbers. Then it goes into full Band On The Run mode with a Mr. Kite production, "how do we stop him, grab the keys and lock him up!" If Paul wants to be controversial, he could have images of Trump behind him on the big screen like Roger Waters did for "Money" on his recent tour. Abe has plenty of regular things to say about Trump on his twitter. Paul could then go into "C'mon People" from Off The Ground. And then into "Let It Be" etc. etc.

Personally, "Who Cares" is my least favorite song off ES. But that's just my opinion.

Rather than wish for songs like "Young Boy", "Rinse The Raindrops" or "When I'm Sixty Four" to make their way to the set in 2019, I'd take songs he's played in the past to Freshen Up the set such as the rare played "Another Girl" or past songs like "The Night Before", "Two Of Us", "Bluebird", "Fixing A Hole", "Mrs. Vandebilt".

And I don't know about anyone else, but I could use a little more cowbell on Live And Let Die. I'm telling you, Pablo... you're gonna want that cowbell in the mix.

Different Yoko haha. Good god five minutes of parading people up on stage he could of done two more songs in that time frame.  Glad those folks got an experience of a lifetime though

No use thinking that way. For starters it gives Paul a rest vocally, it makes a couple big fans happy. And it's not like he would play and extra song or two in that time. He could very well just add and extra 5 mintues to the lengh of the show by doing that. Let It Be

Chicago seems very unlikely with Paul playing two shows here last summer and him playing Moline, Madison and Fort Wayne. I won't complain if he does end up playing Chicago though. Why not Allstate Arena (smaller 15,000 seat arnea), Sears Centre Arena (10,000 seats) or White Sox ball park!

He might feel like certain songs aren't "big enough" to fill an arena or stadium, even "Despite Repeated Warnings" which starts out slow, and  "I Don't Know." Concert goers who are into Egypt Station would certainly be thrilled, though. They're delighted with anything from ES being played. "Back in Brazil" would be a big treat and transporting.  "Fuh You" strikes me as insanely catchy; it should rock the joint. Caesar Rock is a primal howl from his id..."Who Cares" rocks, is catchy. It should keep the momentum going, the high energy, and he did play it in Montreal (first time in concert?). Couldn't horns come in at some point in "Come On To Me"? Paul sounds so sassy on that, it's provocative.  I fancy "Fuh You" a bit more.  I love the heavenly choir in the first station and the ending station, on ES.

He explained recently he and the band need to rehearse more songs from ES before playing them live; don't you get it, more rehearsal time is needed. So much bitching. He explained why. All this complaining about the setlist must aggravate him at times.

Paul has all the time in the world. He scheduled the album release and the tour. Has nothing else to do. It's a lame excuse.

Despite Repeated Warnings (my favorite. He needs to add it to the show. It's like a new band on the run)

As I stated in the other thread, I think this show is called Freshen Up, because it's a big 'F.U'. to all of us.

Yep. It's a big Fuh You to the fans.

Drop: In Spite Of All The Danger, 4/5 Seconds, My Valentine,  Love Me Do, I've Just Seen A Face,  A Hard Days Night,  Can't Buy Me Love,  I've Got A Feeling,  Let Me Roll It.

There's 9 songs. A lot can be added to Freshen Up the set.
