well my heart bleeds for them. perhaps they should have bought tickets for the stands! if you wanna be close to the stage AND SIT then i think its asking too much!....cake and eat it e.t.c!
We were told that Paul doesn't like people sitting down during his gig so we just HAD TO stand up If you want so sit down close to the stage, you might wanna request a chair ON stage next time

anyway ive never ever witnessed stricted security or stewards like sunday.gosh they were mean at times.i saw many heated exchanges with disgruntled punters who only wanted to get a closer pic or something like that!
They were HORRIBLE. We had a couple of arguments with them. Untill I saw Paul's 'soundcheck-lady' and asked her if she could convince the security guys to let us stand up. And she did a brilliant job!!!
There was tons of security and from different companies not just G4S...I know it's Glasgow and we may have a wee bit of a reputation sometimes but come on, it was a Paul McCartney concert - surely they weren't expecting moshpits and riots? Heh! PM's assistant was lovely - glad she was so authorative to deal with them. I saw one of my customer's working for security (I work for the jobcentre for my sins) and told him he better admit he worked that show! heh heh! I'm just very glad I am short and no one would bother if I was in front of them...no one could be in front of me anyway....apart from Paul and the photographer! Lucky was our names that day!
