Wow!  That Pepper Hofner is So Awesome   It looks like a Left Handed Hofner Violin Bass.  Did Hofner create a custom Pepper one just for Paul?  Does he play left handed?  The newer version, is the Hofner Ignition Violin Bass.  It's less expensive, but still has a beautiful deep tone, especially for playing all your favorite Beatles songs  sounds great

I wanted to get a Hofner Ignition Bass for my niece, and ran across a beautiful blue one on dhgate dot com, but they are calling it a "McCartney", using Paul's name, in the Description.. so I'm thinking it is probably a knockoff, not a real Hofner.  In fact they are using Paul's last name all over their site to advertise their stuff... but they way they are using it, it didn't look kosher, made me worried it might not be on the up and up...
