RE: Paul McCartney 2012 Rumours
This website says Paul would only play 1 show in Recife. http://www.pernambuco.com/ultimas/nota.asp?materia=20120321134504&assunto=169&onde=Viver I wonder if there's any possibility to play in Rio between Recife and Floripa? Fingers crossed! =D

Damn, you spoiled the fun, my Brazilian friend! Haha.
Hahahahaa I know... but I want to avoid more people complaining about South American rumours. That's why I'm keeping quiet until the concerts are confirmed, some people are getting very angry.
Well, I hope that wasn't about my post, because I didn't complain about the rumours - I simply said that some people were treating rumoured dates and places as if they were already confirmed, instead of treating them as what they are: rumours.

Updated list of rumoured concerts: 15.04 - MONTEVIDEO (Uruguay) 17.04 - ASUNCIÓN (Paraguay) 19.04 - BOGOTÁ (Colombia) 20.04 - RECIFE (Brazil) 21.04 - RECIFE (Brazil) 27.04 - FLORIANÓPOLIS (Brazil) 07.05 - GUADALAJARA (Mexico) 08-11.05 - MÉXICO D.F. (two concerts)
19/20/21 April... It seems that McCartney never plays more than two consecutive nights.
Exactly! That's why I keep saying CALM DOWN, people! I'm from Brazil and sure I'd love to see him play here for the 3rd year in a row, BUT there's nothing official, nothing confirmed and even the promoters have said so, though we all know there are big chances he'll come back this year. Like somebody said a few pages back, the build up to a Paul McCartney show is really fun too, but most fans here in Brazil are taking these concerts and dates for granted, which is bad, because if they don't get confirmed, the frustration will be even bigger. So, once again: CHILL OUT! lol

The company that promotes Paul's shows here in Brazil (PlanMusic) posted on their website today that there's absolutely nothing confirmed yet - though they're negotiating it - and that everything the Brazilian press has said so far regarding this matter did not come from them, nor is it official. Also, I'm finding it really weird all the rumours about Paul in Recife, because the rumoured stadium (Arruda) would have to undergo huge changes, which would demand a great deal of time and money, to be able to host such an event. It's not impossible, but it's not as easy as it was with Beira Rio, Morumbi and Engenhão either.
IS there any other stadium in Recife, Mandy?
Yes, and it's actually bigger and better than Arruda Stadium, but it's currently closed, since it's under reform for the 2014 World Cup (like most good stadiums here in Brazil, lol).
