Triplets Love Paul:
Anyone know anything about the great Andre Gardner holding his usual Philabundance collection on the day of the concert? I have not yet seen anything, but have not had a lot of time to research. Any information would be appreciated!
Hi Anita, Andre just answered me on Facebook, said he isn't doing it this year, said its something he does when Paul is playing multiple nights.

Need help from you locals. I get to Manchester Airport Wednesday morning at 8:50 AM. I don't know how long it will take me to clear customs. From what I've read so far I shouldn't have a problem due to the strike right? Do I get the train at the airport or do I need a shuttle to get to the train? Should I order the tickets ahead of time on-line? Their site says its cheaper to order ahead of time. Not sure how long it will take me to get thru the airport. Thanks

I love the seats up front, not that I really ever use it but it's nice to know you have it. Plus it's a nice barrier from being squeezed in like a sardine, if you give folks a chance to act like idiots and push and shove...they usually will.
I agree Bob, the last GA Vegas show was pretty unconfortable. Never again, lol
Bob Gannon:
It's why I wouldn't go to many South American shows, it's not worth it for me and just about any of my friends to go, GA is just an ass way of doing things. It's good for folks with little money and the time to stand in line for hours or days but for most of us, we like seats. I'm 6'08" and I stand all the time, I've been asked to move more times when everyone is standing than I have when there are seats. Strange but true
I read somewhere that sitting down most people are approximately the same height. Its our legs that are different.

I assume those of us outside the UK also get overnight delivery which should arrive tomorrow? I really didn't want to take off a day from work sitting around waiting on a package, but I guess its too late to have them send it elsewhere since according to this e-mail it allready went out. Talk about lousy customer service. And I still don't know where I'm sitting at the show.

I remember paying USD 1180 for a front row seat in Chile and a lady behind me spent the whole concert pulling from my t-shirt asking me to sit down. Then security asked me to sit down as well. **** it. Gimme a general admission ticket any day.
What a ****. She actually got security on you for standing at a rock concert???
Most people know when to sit and when its ok to stand. I dont want to spend 1500. dollars to look at someones back and their sign the entire concert. Its just rude to keep standing when everyone else is sitting. When you hear the first chords of yesterday sit the **** down! lol

So should I assume because no tickets have been sent out yet, that since I am in the U.S., they are going to screw me and put my tickets at will call?
Why would you assume that? I'm getting anxious too. But they where clear about when the tickets would be sent. "NB: Prices are per person. Final Information and tickets will be sent approx 7-10 days before the show. If you require any further info please call + 44 (0)8444 721 333 or please email Customer Support . Prices may be subject to change. We strongly recommend our optional Personal/Event Cancellation Insurance including Artist Non-Appearance Cover at 4.8%. He could do Coachella again right? It would have been 7 years since he played it. Or Paul could start his own four day festival. 4 days of McCartney music - every song he's ever written. McCartney Fest or Paulapalooza.
^^^^^ if he did this I would die. I would pay $$$$$$ to see this. Or if he started having GA floor at his concerts, or at least a split floor (one half GA other half seated to cater to the, ahem, older audience members ) U2 charges $275 for a top ticket but $70 for GA floor spots. It can be done Paul.
If you want to stand for that length of time, be my guest. No GA Floor for me ever again. Age has nothing to do with it. I'll pay for a seat, thank you very much!
I feel the same way. The last Vegas show was rough. I paid good money to get in early ahead of the pack only to have people push and shove their way to the front. It was hard not to lose your temper.

RE: Hospitality Experience Liverpool
Melissa, I never heard of Paul seperating the 2 drinks plus vegetarian dinner hospitality reception from the soundcheck before. Usually we go straight from soundcheck to dinner. I think diinner lasted about an hour, but I could be wrong. Most of the time they take you to a t-shirt stand before the rush also, but not always. People start trickling out into the outside of the stadium after eating to get non-vegetarian food and hit the t-shirt stands again before the show begins. Evidently they where tight for time with this show and had to seperate the two. I'm not vegetarian so I had an easy decision choosing the soundcheck only package. Hopefully you'll be able to hear the soundcheck from whereever they have you eating dinner.
