Anyone seating in Floor 3 Row Q, I just bought a single ticket so that my mom could sit with my dad. Just wondering if anyone from the board will be in the same section who I can befriend.

RE: Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours
Since Paul is doing some ball park shows and DC being announced, any rumors of a Pittsburgh show, perhaps at PNC Park?

The Good: Paul looked and sounded awesome! The sound quality in the new arena was good, kudos to Paul's sound engineers. This is the first time I could hear everything he was saying clearly and without echo/distortion. Not that I don't have his "script" memorized already!
Although he did talk about his guitars and Les Paul a bit, which I have never heard him do before. The new center was great and they were right when they said there wasn't a bad seat in the place. We were in section 213, row B and even tho we were high up, we still had a good view. I also liked the openness of the arena too. I was a bit disappointed that Paul didn't call me up onstage and sing "Michelle" to me, but I still enjoyed the show!
Highlights for me included: Two of Us, Highway, Paperback Writer and Mrs. Vanderbilt. The Bad: This was the lamest crowd I have ever seen at a Paul show. NOT ONE PERSON in our section stood up and danced or even stood up at all. And looking around the center it didn't look like ANYONE was standing or dancing except for people on the floor. As soon as Paul came out I jumped up and started screaming and felt like an idiot because everyone else just sat there. I stood and danced for several songs by myself and thank goodness no one complained. When we were leaving and older gentleman that was sitting behind us with his wife said he was enjoying watching me dance and enjoy myself. I wish I would have known that earlier - I would have danced every song! The Ugly: Some lady standing in line a the merch both accused my sister of stealing a shirt! She was really loud and obnoxious about it and made my sister feel awful. What happened was, my sister and I were at two different merch booths on the phone with each other. She bought her shirt and then got in line again to save a space for me. I got to the booth and got in line and then my sister stood off to the side and waited for me. This woman saw my sister and started going off on her. She was like "I just saw you standing in line and now you're over there with that shirt. What did you do steal it?" She just kept going on and on, it was awful. I'm not sure what this woman's problem was, my sister was mortified that someone would accuse her of that and was really upset. Once Paul came on, she did have a great time however! All in all it was not my favorite Paul show, but it was still an AWESOME TIME! It was nice to be able to drive right from my house to the show!
I agree 100 percent. Last night the crowd was more into it than the first night and Paul noticed.

I'm the happiest girl alive. I just got back from the tattoo parlor and I'm still in complete shock. It was the happiest moment of my life. I still can't think of the proper words to express how I feel. I'm just so unbelievably, thoroughly happy. Alvita
Ahhh!!! That's so awesome. I was soo happy for you last night when he pulled you up.

Wonder what time Paul will hit the stage? Ticket says 7:30 but I've read reports that he came on recently in Toronto around 9:00.

I'll definitely be up for meeting at the Souper Bowl both nights. As long as someone gets there early to reserve a couple tables, because that place will fill up quick.

I got tickets for the first show... I was going to get the $60 seats if there was a second show, but it looks like those tickets are all gone now!
I had 2 60 dollar seats and should have got them, oh well. I'm glad to have tickets for at least one of the shows. Also remember to check back when it nears closer to the date because once they build the stage they realize they can release more tickets and always do. I wasn't expecting them to announce the second show so soon, especially right away. I figured maybe a few days of a notice would have been good.

Wow he sold out in less then a minute. There is definitely going to be a second show.
Nashville was the same. Hopefully we'll get a second show as well.
Wow! He just added a second show right now, and it's on sale.

~ BUMP ~ This should be on front pg. I'm not happy w/ my seat but the TM kept giving me the 105 sec. each time I threw it back I got the same sec. again excpt further back, I began to wonder if I'd wait too long I wouldn't get anything!!! I know, I should be glad I'm getting to go at all, But I wasn't counting on this lousy of a seat...5 1/2 hrs. of driving to set way back, so far back I don't think I'll be able to see anything...if any of you are going....take photos so I can see what I missed, OK?!!!
There will be video screens all around, you won't miss anything. I saw it...you have to imagine the stage will be in the way, you see?! Maybe you should have just tried for the general on sale? Plenty of decent tickets get released.
I believe TM has a racket going...highest bidder gets the good seats, not fair to the many people who don't have the money!!!!
You need to use the virtual map to locate your ticket. sec 115 row W is actually a very good seat. You're right to the side of the stage. I would love to have that seat. You also have the nice jumbo tron to see with a clear view. I would be happy with this seat if I were you. It seems you will be able to see the band run out when they hit the stage. Take a look for yourself: http://www.seats3d.com/nhl/pittsburgh_penguins/?pn=p_115_3
I saw it...you have to imagine what it will look like w/ the stage up, mainly this veiw is for the people who come for the sports events, right?!!!
When you click that link the stage will be set up right there at the first goal cage that you see. It's a great view, I don't understand the disappointment. Whether it's a sports event or a concert, it's still the same view you are looking at. You'll basically have the stage right there in front of you.

I think the 45 bus goes straight down to Public Square to where the ticketmaster is located by me. Maybe if I get there at 8:30 or something that should be enough time before they sell out right?
You should be fine if you get there that early. I really doubt there will be a line for this show all the way out in Cleveland. But if I were you, I'd call that Ticketmaster outlet first over the weekend and make sure they can get you the tickets on Monday morning for Pittsburgh. You'd hate to go all the way there to find you can't get them there, then by the time you'd get home, the show would be sold out.
That is a smart idea to call the Ticketmaster outlet first. I'm pretty sure though that you can get tickets for any concert at any Ticketmaster outlet. I've done it before but that was a few years ago, so it may changed, I don't know.

That would suck if I have to go downtown to buy tickets.. There's one on Euclid Avenue and one in Public Square. But I don't think anyone will be in line to really get tickets to see Paul though in Pitttsburgh. If he were playing here in Cleveland yeah I'd get my butt down there super early but since this is Pittsburgh maybe it's best to buy them online?
It's going to be worse to buy them online for Pittsburgh. How fast the presale tickets went is a prime example of why it would be worse. You have a huge possibility of the ticketmaster server being overloaded, that's when they have you wait in a virtual waiting line for over 10 minutes, even more. I'm predicting tickets to be gone in less then 2 minutes online.

Becky, if Pittsburgh is anything like Nashville- I'd get there REALLY early, I mean 2 hours, have breakfast in your car and be the first person in line. I'd even stop by this weekend to make sure that location will have tickets and maybe choose a location in a less populated part of town.... but make sure they will really be ready to sell tickets at 10! Tickets are selling out in minutes and being 5th in line might not do it. I know they say that online is the best way, and I was lucky enough to get through, but if I hadn't, that is what I would have done in Nashville.. Also, ask for tips from anyone who's had success buying from a ticketmaster outlet. Good luck!!!!!! And for anyone who knows about seating. What is row TT? I've checked the seating charts, even entered it in the virtual link- but can't seem to figure it out. Thanks! Britt
You must be on the floor somewhere, that is probably why it didn't come up on the virtual map.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I'm trying to get tickets for this show right now but I need the code for the Pittsburgh Consol Energy Center Founding Partners! Does anyone know it????????? Thanks! I'd had to wait till Monday!
That password is only available to the people who work for the founding partners. I know the Tribune Review and Post Gazette are both founding members. So I highly doubt that password is going to be made available to the public.

Saw paul twice in cleveland in 2002. Got tickets to pittsburgh, and I'm bringing my 8 year old with me, she's really excited. Anybody else bringing their small children to pittsburgh to see Sir Paul?
Don't have any small kids of my own, since I'm only 22, but I was your daughters age when I first started dreaming about seeing Paul live one day. So awesome you are bringing the little one. She'll enjoy it definitely.

So, Crowdsurge says tickets will be despatched 14 days before the event....isn't that cutting it kinda close?!
They told me they don't even get the tickets till then. I don't know why it takes them that long to get the tickets.
