It's been awhile since he's played MSG. Wonder if it's in the plan. Hope so!!! I'm heading to Glasgow in a few days to catch him there!

2 weeks today, so exciting! Who would be up for arranging a meet up on the sat before the revolver gig? There is a pub/restaurant in maggie mays above the club where revolver are playing. The food is good if anyone wanted to eat, and the music is always good. If people fancied it, I could check if we could book out an area so we could all sit together. Let me know asap so we can get a rough idea of numbers, then i could contact maggie mays to see if i can book. Also let me know what time suits. Doors for revolver opens at 8 i think.
Count me in as well! I´m arriving in Glasgow the 19th at about 1pm. No plans so far after checking in in my hotel. Is there anybody else at Rennie Mackintosh City Hotel at Renfrew Street?
Count me and the misses in! Looking forward to this trip and show!

I know, this has me very concerned. I feel like I've waited a life time (well I have) to see Paulie in the UK and now this damn volcano decides to wake up!!!!
I really hope it will be calm in June again. I don't mind spending extra days in Scotland after the show but I do wanna get there, preferably by plane. Let it explode all it wants NOW (sorry for the people who have to travel) and let it calm down in June.
+1 once I get to Scotland it can do anything it's little heart desires!

Maybe a bit off topic but I came across this site with some nice 1990 pics earlier today: http://www.rosshalfin.com/paul-mccartney/paul-mccartney01.php
That first photo of Paul is great! WHAT model of 5 string Rickenbacker is he holding???
I believe it is an altered Blackstar given the black fretboard. The blackstar, normally a 4 string though some 5 string versions were made had black hardware. The fretboard is the give away!

Well, with the planes not flying to/from Scotland again, I bought myself a back-up trainticket to the UK today. I have an A'dam-Glasgow planeticket but just in case they're gonna cancel flights again, I got myself a pretty cheap trainticket to London as well. Just to be sure.

Wow, what a great present for your Mom! I hope she's gonna fully recover. The Sat night before the gig there's this Beatles cover band playing in Maggie May's. Come join the fun!
I am definitely going to look into Maggie May's. Thanks for letting me know!

I started a Up and coming Glasgow site on Facebook. Just to make it a little easier to make plans for meeting before/after the Glasgow gig. Just search for Up and coming - Glasgow. Since I'm currently on a US roadtrip, I can't post too frequently myself but it's an open group so post all you want! Jolanda
I joined too!
