There's a fab youtube clip of Paul doing an unplugged session in about 1996. One of the songs is We can work it out. He starts and stops the song 3 times because he can't remember the words and actually has to get a piece of paper to read them before performing it in full. The live audience love it!!!

I used to be a member of the Wings Funclub in the 1980's. When Paul was making the video for "Take it away" the funclub offered FREE tickets for fans to be the crowd in the video. I was in it BUT that wasn't the high point of the day! I actually talked to Paul and collected his autograph because the shot was delayed. We were told we could go off until a certain time or just hang around. I chose to hang around with about 5 other....and, as if by magic, Paul appeared to apologise for the delay and spoke to us all!!!!
He's such a class act. And what a cool story! So...where are ya' in the vid?
I'm on the LH side somewhere in the middle. I can hardly remember the actual shoot and I don't actually like the song either!!....I was just so stunned st meeting Paul....and to think I only stayed I didn't know the area we were in and I didn't want to get lost and miss it!!!!

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
I LOVE the pics of Paul in the late 80's...long hair with loads of grey (especially the "Press to Play" video on the london Underground. Youtube it).....so I'd LOVE to see him totally grey with a beard......although in Chaos and Cration at Abbey Road he was STUNNING....dyed hair or not!!
