This is my favorite solo song of Paul's. I love when he says Sister Suzie,Brother John. I think martin Luteher is Martin Luther King. Phil and don are the Everly Brothers. The Background music is good too.

RE: "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978 film) on blu-ray
IT was funny to see how crazy Rosie was for Paul. Sadly the actress who played her also passed away.I notice in the movie how one of the guys hated the Beatles. I talked to a friend of mine who was ten years old at time fo the Ed Sullivan performance and he told me about having a Beatle wig and how his dad thought the Beatles were long haired bums.

Anybody see this movie about teenagers getting tickets to see the Beatles at the Ed Sullivan Show?

RE: Press To Play TV Special
I have this on videotape and used to love to watch The Helen Wheels bit and the parts where he sang Hi Hi Hi and Wildlife.

RE: Phil Collins to Tour Again!
I can understand Paul not wanting to sign an autograph since people ask him so many times and he probably gets tired of it but no need to call him Little Phil.

Any Doors fans here? I love their music and even met John Densmore at a book signing for the Doors Unhinged.
I'd love to know what John Densmore was like. Such a sad day when he died.
Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier Wyrdskein, I just recently found this thread. John Densmore was nice but maybe strange. That is the impression I got of him. I asked him if JIm Morrison would have had children if he was alive and he said oh sure. I always wondered how Jim would ahve been as a father.

John Lennon solo concerts
Did anyone on here go to see John perform live at his Madison Square Garden show in 1972 or on Thanksgiving day in 1974 with Elton John? If os please let me know since I was too small back then and never got to see John perform live solo or never will.

I love the Eagles and like Hotel California and Life In The Fast Lane is another one of my favorites. I saw them in concert in 1995 and they opened the show with Hotel California and closed with Take It Easy. When they sang Dirty Laundry instead of Don Henley singing got the bubble headed bleach blonde comes on at 5 she can tell you aboout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye he sang she can tell you about the Oj. it was a great show even though I sat in the nosebleed section.
That was probably the year I went (the "Comeback Tour" for $100 each tix) I was in about the 17th row as I got #2 in the lottery.
Yes it was The Hell Freezes over Tour. I got the cheaper tickets and sat in the nosebleed section but I didn't care as long as I was there. Funny thing is when I went to get my ticket I said one ticket and the cashier looked at me funny and said one ticket like going by yourself was a big deal. I didn't mind going by myself.

RE: 9 John Lennon Quotes That Still Pack a Punch 35 Years After

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted. Everything is the opposite of what it seems.
The quote was "Everything is the opposite of what it seems. Right Harry?" He was quoting his friend and songwriter Harry Nilsson, who said that to him.
Thanks for clearing that up Randy.

Did We Meet Somewhere Before
I just found out about this song and heard it in Rock N'Roll High School. I hear Paul wrote this for the movie Heaven Can Wait but it was turned down. Some people don't like it but I do. Anyone else like this song on here?
