OMG just announce all the European dates already. This is beyond tedious, and not in a good way. I suppose announcing just a few (or one) shows at a time is supposed to build excitement but it's honestly just annoying and makes me less likely to get tickets. Sorry, but I don't want to risk spending hundreds of dollars on flights and hotel only to find out a couple of days later that he's playing much closer to where I live. It made sense back in 2007-2009 following the seperation/divorce from the ex but now that he's back to doing more normal tours that are clearly planned well ahead of time it's pointless.

RE: Paul announces he will do a "New" Song
Honestly, I think he is just referring to performing recently released solo songs in general (i.e. not classic Beatles or Wings), not a specific song he plans on playing. Since the next solo album will probably be released this year he most likely will play 3-4 songs from that, and he's saying they won't get the same reaction (people taking their phones out) as Hey Jude, Let It Be, Yesterday, Live and Let Die etc.

RE: 2017 Setlist Speculation Thread
Sort of related to this thread... In a new Q&A Paul did in Japan he was asked if he'll be playing songs from Flowers in the Dirt on the tour. His answer is classic Paul.

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

Maybe he's planning to squeeze in promotion for the new album in between all those NY shows?
To be honest, with his hectic touring schedule in July, September and October I'll be surprised if we even get a new album at all this year. I hope I'm wrong and he devotes the next two months to completing the album. However I'll be surprised if that's the case.

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
Nope, I'd rather he tour Europe in the autumn or around Christmas (basically after he has released the new album) so that we can get some new songs in the set list. Hopefully.

Looks like he was at a Broadway show yesterday ("The Play That Goes Wrong").

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

New York's 106.7 mentioned a rumor today about Paul playing in NYC this summer... after discussing Billy Joel's recently announced show at the Garden in July, the radio host said that he heard McCartney would also be in town at some point.
Did that radio host really think it was some kind of scoop or bold prediction that Paul will be in NYC some time in the summer?

^^
He'll just fall asleep on the plane. And some people think he's reading all the internet posts & complaints about the remasters...ha...he's either jetting off somewhere or sleeping! When is he off to St Barts?
He's there now.
