Hi Podgie, it's nice to meet you, if we haven't met before.  I have really had fun reading some of your creative work, that was on the old board.   Sorry you've been ill, but its great you got to see Paul in concert.  You said you touched some rocks in Scotland and ended up in the 1600s... you must be an Outlander fan!    (I was for the first two seasons... but after she came back to 1945 again,  the plot got a bit confusing for me, lol)  Hope you can get some photo posting issues resolved soon, we enjoy your creativity and sense of humor. 

When I touched the stones I was shooting for the 1960s, but I overshot.  The show is 1700s, Clare just met George Washington.  It definitely was better when they were in Scotland, but still an interesting show.

Not sure if I am going to persue photo posting, too much work...and may be all for naught.

Well, it's been a long and winding road across the universe and back. I've seen Ringo a few times and was finally able to get to Las Vegas, twice, and see Beatles Love, twice, as well as Penn & Teller.  Teller and I had an interesting convesation about Harpo Marx (they both can talk, who knew? LOL.) Also saw the Austrailian Pink Floyd show. Awesome.

Have been creating all over the place. Oil paintings. Videos. AR/VR. Animation. Fun stuff.

They won't allow photos? Dang it. There must be a way...she said with a grin.

I am frustrated with this new webpage.  I have trouble logging in.  Do PMs exist?  Where are they? What really turned me off was not being able to link photos without paying.  I just let it all go.

Thanks Podgie for the updated info, shocked you weren't there considering your billions!!!! Or were you?? Other than being a Patriot fan ,  You are the best!!  (before any Patriot fans get upset he's a very good friend)

It is funny.  I found out about it at 6pm the night of the show, and thought about just hanging outside to hear the show, but since I have to get up at 4am for work I passed.  When I went to bed, I couldn't sleep thinking about the show...so I probably would have been better off going.  Oh well.

The person I know who was there is a relative.  She had a great time.  She said that only about 150 people, very small group.

The setlist posted is not complete!  He did more songs.  I talked to someone who was there.  She said she did not know his new songs, so he did play a few.  He also did play "Hi Hi Hi" and "I've got a Feeling", I know because I saw a private brief video clip of it.

I've had it!!! Now Photobucket wants $400 if you link photos from their site!!! So all my photos are now gone!!! Highway Robbery!!! That's it for me. It was fun while it lasted. They are removing everyone who has personnel webpages from their servers. It was something that was offered since I first signed up with Comcast. Seems to me, getting less, yet paying more. I posted all my early photos on a personnel webpage, then linked them to the forum. Now I use Photobucket, but all the early pages (around 200 pages) my photos were linked to my webpages. I guess much is outdated, and less relevant today, but still historical and humorous. It is actually a fun read, if you got time, but many posting photos by others have disappeared. It is with heavy hand on keyboard that I bring the news that this thread will soon be history. If someone tells you, "Don't post anything bad on the internet, it will last forever!" You can laugh in their face. Comcast, the Provider of Internet, has let me know that as off Oct 8, yup a week from now, my webpage will be removed from their servers. This effectively means that 2/3rds of my pages, which have pictures I posted (those photos) will cease to exist! I had contemplated saving all the photos, then reposting to another photo storage source, then relinking them all. After just saving things, I realize that the effort is just too great, and that I am too lazy. Also, I found that much of the humor was outdated, and probably not worth the effort. Other peoples photos had already disappeared long ago, and all the is left is the dreaded X. Enjoy what is left for the next week, much will soon be gone! Podgie (Oh The Humanity!!!) Monkey

Just got notice from my IP (Wonderful Comcast) that they are going to remove all personal websites from their servers on October 8 of this year. This essentially means the majority of stuff I posted early in this thread will disappear. The photos were linked to my webpage. Quite a bit will just disappear! So much for the exorbitant prices they charge! Shows you things on the internet will not last forever. I have a choice of either, reloading all the photos linked to my page into another site, like Flikr or Photobucket then editting the early posts for the new links. Quite an effort! Is it worth? Does anyone else go back and get a chuckle out of the past postings? Sometimes I go back and read through and laugh at some of the early stuff. The other option is just let it die in cyberspace. Maybe this thread has run it's course? I don't know. Once it is gone, it will be gone! Don't know which path I'll take. : Podgie (so much for internet forever) Monkey
