Yeah, that's what it did for the Amex presale. And then it doesn't tell you which seats are available in each section. You just click on "infield" or whatever section you want and then you can see which seats it picked for you. It's very random.

That's awesome! We weren't doing VIP, but I'm thrilled to have snagged seats, given how random the process was for regular seats. We were hoping for floor seats, but nothing good was coming up. We have Section 8, row 24, seats 1-2. I've been very lucky to have seen Paul with floor seats 4 times, and at this point, I am thrilled to have seats that will give me a terrific view (I'm short, so I have to be careful about floor seats).

So I didn't think I was going to a Paul show this tour, but the husband said he wants to go to the Raleigh show, so I'm in the market for tickets! Have all the sales already happened? Ticketmaster is, of course, really confusing, so I can't tell. Stub Hub is only showing 250 tickets, which is really unusual in my experience.

My wonderful husband got me the remastered George albums, remastered Concert for George, and remastered White Album/Esher demos. It was a good Christmas.

I've been lucky enough to see Paul 9 times, but I think I'm going to skip this tour. We could probably line up childcare and make the trip, but the setlist just doesn't seem different enough. I totally get why he keeps some songs in there because lots of people will only see him once, but it does get a little repetitive. I can also recite all the stories he tells--which I'm sure many people can!

Forty minutes later and...WE'RE IN!!! Two shows with Paul this summer!!! WOOO!!! My eleventh, and this will be my girlfriend's second Paul show! I really wanted floor seats, bu the only ones that came up were so far back and my girlfriend is too short for that. We would need to be in like the first ten rows, and even then it only takes one tall person to ruin that. So! We're Section 111 Row K Seats 5+6 It's like smack in the middle of the 100's section on the piano side of the stage. Should be an excellent view!

sweet! we got section 109 row c, so not far from you guys! would've loved section 111, but we couldn't try for that long and my husband's phone was about to die. just thrilled to be there!!

Storm here so we lost electricity. No problem, I thought, my iPad is fully charged. But no elec. meant no internet connection. Finally used a lot of data on my tiny screen, old smart phone. Nothing that I wanted came up. Very hard to read screen and I kept hitting wrong button for password, etc. Bottom line, no tix for me. On Monday I will be at the dentist under sedation during the regular sale. Don't want to put this appointment off to buy tix. So not sure what to do. I thought I read somewhere about a phone app that has a pre-sale. Anyone know anything about this? Even though it is very difficult to buy with a smart phone I may try it. Any ideas IF they announce a second date when that would be and when would tix go on sale? If it is Monday I guess I'll be out of luck because I'll be at dentist for hours and then will be really out of it. Sorry for such a long post. Frustrated. Typing this at the library computer as my elec. is back on but all of Comcast (phone, TV, internet) is still out.

Let's cross our fingers for Monday!! Luckily, there do seem to be a couple of tickets on the secondary market for something fairly close to face value. I'm hoping that if we really have no luck during the general sale and there's no 2nd date added, the gods will be kind to us in the secondary market.

I called TicketMaster (existing order department) and they are going to send my ticket when they are printed via UPS, instead of having to swipe my credit card. I don't quite trust that method. I should have checked delivery method when I ordered but at that point my eyes were hurting from verifying so many images. My seat is center on the main concourse. I was about to give up at 10:45 this morning then up popped something decent. Would have preferred the side that Wix plays on but settled on what I could get at face value.

You're really lucky you got something! I also hate those image verification things. Sigh.

Horrible presale this morning. Philadelphia was way easier Monday. But, that's also a city he visited less than a year ago and its double the size of Verizon Center...so I suppose all of that should be accounted for.

did you manage to get anything? we completely struck out (for the first time, btw -- i've been to 8 paul shows and never had a problem with presales). nothing but VIP-priced tickets we can't afford, and one section with obstructed view.

Nope. I could've gotten a sixth row Gold VIP ticket, but I can't afford two VIP tix in the same summer. I hope we get a second night in DC because there will barely be any tickets left for the general sale come Monday, and they'll go fast. For every concert on the Out There tour, I used the PM fan club presale run through the website and never had a problem. Sure it could be frustrating, but I always got the tickets I set out for whether it was a Gold Package or nosebleeds. Prior to the Out There tour, it was tough. We used to try the AMEX presale but it never worked. The only reason I got to see him at Citi Field and Philly '10 was because they added the extra night DURING the sales. While everyone was struggling to get tickets for a sold out show, we saw the new links for a second (or third) night and got in with no problem.

Yeah, same here. I've never had a problem. Sure, it could be a stressful 30 minutes or so figuring out whether to dump tickets to try for better ones, but I never got totally shut out. My husband and I are gearing up for a baby in the fall, so we can't really justify a VIP package this summer. We were really just hoping for some nice seats in one of the 100s sections, where we could see things well and I could sit down if need be and not be blocked by people. I just really hope we get a second DC date, or tickets miraculously aren't *too* ridiculous on StubHub once we get closer to the date and people start reducing ticket prices. That's a huge gamble though, obviously. UGH.
