Dear Kitty it is indeed painful to be let down by those whom we form bonds with. Don't know whether this will help but Shakespear wrote; 'to thine own self be true....' I find these words of strength, cause as long as you listen to your inner voice you become empowered somewhat xxx your poem.... a sad one, spoke your mind clear and true x

RE: Sweet memories of friends from the past
You called my name in a dream we'd both made up the scene to get them thinking drinking sinking to colours never seen To a depth no one had been fork lighting lit up the screen I blinked and then danced I'd fallen apart I'd been unstitched at the seams To the left of centre on the edge of a knife to the centre of madness back to life and all the while the perfume of cats with their tails, held aloft, fuelled the night You called my name in a dream it was all I wanted to believe.

RE: I LOVE POEMS
Dear Lana I actually worked on the 'Free as a bird ' video, part of it was filmed in Liverpool and I come from a TV Film background! it was a magical experience and I love the end result, was I cheeky expressing the line or did you and I have karma? who knows kid. it is so good to see your face you are a beauty. I thought 'Addiction' may be a bit on the dark side but i'm so pleased you liked a bird passed through my dream it's wings echoed oh so loud, yet the comfort was one of a mission and so I stood there, quiet and proud I stood still and it slowed down to speak and my mouth opened to it's beak it suckled quite sweetly we were so completely two spirits caressed cheek to cheek but I knew it would die without water so I lifted it out from my mouth and climbed up the ladder, to order a container that I could dose the drought but so many choices confused me some too big, some too square, some too round, and I turned to my bird that lay thirsty and there it was bereft on the ground this was a real dream Lana don't ever let your own escape you. xxxxxx

Oh why, when I sit on the sofa do the cushions get screwed up and worn? my mosaic tiles no longer shimmer and the wallpaper looks like it's torn The cottons come out of the lampshade is it just, a sign of repair? Then the candle wax snuffs out the wick head these little things cause me despair! The tape measure, measures only inches the second hand passes the time all of this detail never noticed before now you've left me i'm out of my mind!!

RE: I LOVE POEMS
The light in the room was quite hazy the cloth on the chair was soft fur 'I remember this room' thought the young girl but who was I meant to meet here? A ladybird perched on the window the looking glass echoed the lair as the dust of a moth slowly vanished she unravelled her memories clear For there on the wall hung a picture of a forest, spun silver, gold, thread and a bird, in a tree that stood weeping, sheltered hawk like, some speckled green eggs 'Don't worry I've not come to steal them' she whispered through the pain of her grasp for these emeralds belong to the free birds and now we are free at last

RE: I LOVE POEMS
The tide comes a lapping and flows out again the moon does the waning Canute but spirits flow through me once in a while at a wardrobe when i'm up on the roof Why do I get there? who knows the truth? but get there and stay there I do and I feel the gentleness of their breeze and my heart skips a beat or two They're all around us whispering out of the sea from it's fathomless depths and the shore just listen to, soft drumming and beat they are living their lives once more

RE: I LOVE POEMS
Dear Lana I have missed you, hey so good to hear from you. I have met Paul on a couple of occasions this is a poem I just wrote of our first time at Tate Liverpool a modern art gallery, for you as ever xx You kept turning your head as I waited to catch your attention to speak looking over your shoulder you looked puzzled our eyes met, was it a freak? we didn't talk then but later as the art danced around the room all I could see was your kindness soft chestnut glaze in full bloom. more than a fans glance I thought but silly, like love songs you wrote for there you are jetting around the world whilst I sit alone, what a joke! Out There Out There Out There is your girl who is ever remote. xx

RE: I LOVE POEMS
you said' never leave me' there were tears in your eyes and I knew that it wouldn't be me, to walk out on our love and this bittersweet thought, held the truth of our destiny and so came the day you departed I acted like I didn't care cause the shipwreck you left was Titanic but my head held my heart to the pier close the window to birdsong lock me away from the air my lovers a leaving and I am a grieving leave me to slumber for years and still you return to my mind sensing sweet breath and presence of time why can't I let you go? find another cause I meant when I gave my reply 'yes I will never leave you' even save portals of dreams

RE: A DAY IN THE LIFE
"Not Here!" The boy was startled the music had stopped and the shadowy figure had all but vanished!! Heart still pumping he trepidly opened the door. Not sight nor sound of anyone save next doors cat who upon hearing the door open, scuttled away. 'was any of that real?' thought the boy, 'or maybe it's just the start of my adventure.' He ran down his path and out of the gate, 'phew I've made it this far, now to get John up cause he's bound to be up for The Adventure too.' So without stopping for breath he ran and ran to Menlove Avenue, where he saw...

RE: I LOVE POEMS
let the fun begin by waking up in the early hours before dawn and communicate with the creatures outside who live on the planet moon. for they are awake by some time lapse and are ready to play with their games word association and magical mystery songs 'talk more talk' is a fertile range is the sun really up where they helter skelter? and through oceans they swell to my cave for now I recognise some of their names i'm a sea dog lapping salt waves so when it's my turn in the sunlight and you're in your beds and can't sleep then come join my life in your moonlight and a rendezvous we will keep
