We don't live very far from Winston-Salem but didn't buy tickets, instead preferring the air conditioned indoor venue at Knoxville, also not too far away.  Watching the weather, it hit 90 degrees earlier today in Winston , followed by some really vicious thunderstorms.  Now it's about showtime there, and the weather for W-S onmy phone shows it has cooled off and the storm has gone so I hope it turns out to be a great evening for all there.

It was wonderful and even got a little cool as the night went on.

Thinking about making a sign to let him know we are celebrating our anniversary with him tonight. But can't figure out how to condense the words to fit on a poster.

      any ideas?

and yes, I know...signs suck for the people behind them but I'm not one of those to hold it up constantly. Prob just a couple times at the beginning. And I'd hold it in front of me and not up high.

Best idea: go enjoy the show and leave the sign at home so that others around you may enjoy the performance as well. You probably wouldn't like your anniversary concert spoiled by someone holding a sign in front of you. Extend the same courtesy to those behind you

Most people with signs know proper sign courtesy and hold the sign up for a few seconds.
      Paul enjoys reading the signs.

Eh.  Me too. You don't sound like a very pleasant person. Enjoy the show!

    • Paul should offer tickets the way the Stones do

The Rolling Stones offer $40 tickets.
They are called Lucky Dip tickets. You don't know where your seat is until you get to the venue and pick up your tickets.
We have done this twice, as it's quite affordable.
once we got club level seats.
      Second time we got PIT!
We were down there standing next to people who spent $2000. And we only paid $40.

Paul and his staff should consider this.

I had the opposite experience...I tried all week, never got a ticket....another fan ALWAYS got the ticket....and I thought there would be some better options, more options  on the general public sale but there weren't.....all jacked up prices way in the back....after about an hour all seats were platinum at $1000 or more. It's was a deeply discouraging experience.....doubt I will ever try to see Paul again. This is only for wealthy people now.....

And there are things Paul can do to prevent the mass reselling and the platinum BS. This whole thing reeked of greed.

I'm with ya. He could do something about this if he really wanted to.

      Finally got some.
      But geez...

when I log on today and see better and cheaper seats than what was offered during presale, that's a bit ridiculous.
