RE: Paul's "Dream" songs...
Adriana Rojas:
Don't be jealous of southamerican people, we only could see Paul in 1993, and from that year we wait 17 or 18 for to see him again...instead if you want you can go to his office and wait him come to work and to see him, I know he go to LIPA every year, and he lives there most his time...then you have many opportunities for to see him
Sorry, I was just annoyed. I was annoyed because I had heard that Paul was headlineing that Bonaroo festival, which is in America so I can't go. Also, the lucky people who meet him always seem to be from somewhere else in the world, and I was just upset about that. I wasn't trying to be offensive.

RE: "One Of These Days"
Kestrel:
^ You also missed 'Waterfalls', which, imho, is the best song Paul's written in the last forty years.
I never really liked Waterfalls, it's a bit slow and strange for me. Sorry everyone! I much prefer One Of These. Days, but that's just my oppinion.

RE: Paul's "Dream" songs...
*Perry*:
Scrambled eggs, all I really want is scrambled eggs, do dooo do doooo dooo doo, baby's legs... Also "No Values" was Paul dreaming a tune from the Stones as if he was watching them live. But he's also hinted at a third song that was gestated in a dream, anyone know which one it is...? I shall ask him, but as I am not from South America I fear that I may not get a reply.
I know what you mean about the South America thing, I live in bloody Merseyside and people on practically the other side of the world get more of Paul's attention than those of us here in his own hometown. No offense.

RE: Paul songs with the same unusual words in them
CUP. From Ballroom Dancing: Well I used to smile when I was a pup, Sailing down the nile in a china cup And from English Tea: Would you care to sit with me, For a cup of English tea? Twee is also an unusual word, but I can't think of another time when it is used.

RE: Tug of War--Almost Thirty Years On
dance-tonight:
Great album. "Wanderlust" is one of the best songs ever, "Tug of War" a great song in every way, "Take It Away" very catchy. "Dress Me Up as a Robber" is the only song on this record I don't like, but all the other ones are great. Paul at his best in the 80s.
You took the words frm my mouth!

RE: What Beatles Item did you last buy?
I went to the Port Sunlight summer festival ealier, which was (to my delight!) more Beatles themed than usual. There was a little stall selling old lps, eps, cds, tapes and other assorted music stuff by the Beatles and other great bands from the '60s-'80s. I was thrilled! I bought; Singles - All you Need is Love/Baby You're a Rich Man, Help/I'm Down, Ticket to Ride/Yes It Is Albums - A Hard Day's Night, Wings at the Speed of Sound. All original vinyls, and £15 for the lot. Brilliant!
