Pulled two pairs in Section A3...
The AmEx pre-sale gave me much better luck than the PM.com pre-sale.
Which is consistent with how the 2014 presales went for me, for both SD and LA.

Good luck to all.
Both Amex and PM.com going on sale at the same time... 17 minutes away.

The only places I've seen AmEx pre-sale confirmed for Monday 12/10 are on padres.com and the Union Tribune article from December 7th.
I'm not seeing anything regarding AmEx for San Diego on Paul's website, nor on ticketmaster.com and axs.com.
Allegedly, AmEx presale should be in about 15 hours. Is it possible they'll get it all live on Monday morning?
That photo is also on Instagram. I believe it could be from Abbey Road when they were recoding.
Also, 4:15 NY time is 1:15 CA time, so if he’s used to CA time right now, then tweeting at 1 AM isn’t abnormal for a musician.
I haven't seen him since November 2005 before last night, so I did remember some stories... but the Blackbird guitar story was new (That millions have told him they've tried to learn it)... I agree about the songs. I've seen Let It Be enough, but when 60,000 people are watching with you and are excited about it, it makes for an experience no matter how many times you've heard it.
Don't give up hope on those songs. I think Paul could sell out stadiums for the rest of his life, as this tour has evidenced, but maybe he'll do a small residency some day just for fun. I was getting sick of Tom Petty setlists, too, and then in 2013 something cool happened... he played a week residency at the Fonda Theater and did a lot of deep cuts. I went twice and heard two almost completely different shows because of it. Loved it! Maybe Paul will do something like that. You never know.

Now that's its clear that this will never happen, I'm going to suspend that reserve and spend a good portion of 2014 venting.
Trust me, I want to hear "Helen Wheels," "My Brave Face," "Magneto" and other songs... so I understand ;).
audi:
And there's more where that came from.
But why? It's as if you wear your criticism as a badge of honor. I'm not one for fanboy behavior, so I see where "idol worship" can be irritating, but I think you are being a little repetitive with your harshness. I'd love to see a 100% Wings show, for the record. Click your profile, click "find all posts by" and look at the most recent 10 results. Mostly negative comments about Paul. Makes one question why you spend so much time here. That's all.
I got some good ones of him playing the Casino during Paperback Writer!
I'm not being abusive, just suggesting you could be more positive. I've viewed 3 threads today, and you've been negative in 2 of them.
audi:
Yep -- and I'll be here for when I get to 30,000 posts. It's a message board which I'm proud to be a part of.
Right, but why do you need to complain so much? At the end of the day, you're a customer, and if you don't like the product, you can shop elsewhere. But if you've determined you still like the product overall, then is it best to trash talk the product in a "support community" for that product? Some places would call that trolling.
audi:
I was expecting something more along the lines of what he did in Seattle last year. Remember? That was a longer show -- and he held is own for a 72-year-old man.
I'm a huge Tom Petty fan. He plays 20 songs a night. He is someone who I think could play a longer show, given that Paul plays 38 songs. If there's one thing you can't complain about with Paul, I think the length of the shows would be a contender.

Perhaps you should find a new artist to follow.
I've earned the right to give Paul sh-t. I'm not going to apologize for holding a pop-genius to a higher standard to suit otherwise simple-minded tastes.
No one would question your right to do so. But do you want to waste your life sitting on a message board (with over 15000 posts) and trash talking someone for playing 3 hours for an appreciative audience? I just think you're being overly negative across the board, pun intended.
audi:
Based on that Rolling Stone interview, it seems that Paul under-values the attention-span of his own audience, and deviating from the status quo would be too strenuous for us to keep up with.
Perhaps you should find a new artist to follow.
audi:
The ambiguity of that video notwithstanding, Paul's state-of-mind suggests that he thinks he's still a Beatle.
The video is not ambiguous at all. He refers to not being there for a while, and says we'll play "longer this time." I wasn't even alive when The Beatles played Dodger Stadium, and I knew the connection. The idea that you're disappointed that a longer show on the "Out There" tour didn't materialize is laughable. The man is 72 years old, yet he played 37 songs in 3 hours. What more could you want?

Can you bring a small digital camera in or will they make you take it back to your car?
As long as it has a fixed lens it's fine...have a great time!!
Ok, great It's a small digital camera that can slip into your pocket. I will bring it. Thank you. Getting ready to leave San Diego in 1 hour and head up north!
Can you bring a small digital camera in or will they make you take it back to your car?
Also, I wanted to thank our webmasters here for posting the backdoor link to Crowdsurge. That was a life saver for me here in a NYC Central Park Starbucks. The internet connection is very shaky, so it was impossible to get in on the pre-sale page. I'm very happy with what I got, and it'll be amazing to see Paul in my hometown for the first time. Thank you!
