A set list more adjusted to his current tone of voice and reduced to two hours of concert, and maybe retiring songs like Maybe Amazed, 1985 and Helter Skelter (that destroy his voice in each concert), would help a lot. Mick Jagger already said it ... If I want to continue in this business, I have to adapt my current voice to my songs from before! ...

RE: Set List critique
We all know what Paul's current problem is in concert. His current voice record keeps him from reproducing many songs in his catalog, as the slowest songs, even the fastest and most rock songs, are the most difficult. to interpret at a concert, and the lack in his vocal cords of a 76-year-old man is increasingly audible. For that reason he no longer plays Yesterday or My Love, or Bluebird and many other songs of the 60s, 70s and, above all, 80, someone still thinks that Paul could play ... No More Lonely Nights ... seriously ?

RE: Paul McCartney 2019 Tour Rumours
Paul McCartney The film Live at The Cavern 2018 ', directed by Paul Dugdale, will make its debut at Cannes 2019. The 72nd Cannes Film Festival is scheduled from May 14 to May 25, 2019, Paul will be present at the festival.
Has anyone thought of the possibility of a mini-concert on the red carpet stairs of Cannes as did U2 in 2007 or Sting in 2018? would be great. -

Brazil seems like almost confirmed.
Here in Argentina, every news about Paul coming has the same brazilian source, no dates or stadiums rumoured. And our currency exchange... I don't think it will happen, unfortunately.
I'll try and save, so maybe I'll get to Sao Paulo again. I had a fantastic time last year there.
Has the economy gotten worse since his 2016 shows in Argentina? I know that made it difficult for him to return between 2011 and 2015, but i thought things had improved in the last couple of years. I mean, other big artists have been touring there, right?
This year has been really rough.
In 2016 I remember I paid my ticket 3100 pesos (Campo VIP). At the time it was something like 250 usd. A 250 usd ticket right now would be 9250 pesos.
The main issue anyway is that no one can assure the promoters that the currency exchange it's going to stay like this until March, when Paul is suppose to tour in South America. I don't really see them taking the risk.

RE: THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018

I would bet at least for three cities of this list: Roma o Turín o Milán,
Barcelona, Frankfurt, Rotterdam , París.... and second concert in London. -
RE: 2018 Tours?
History repeats itself year after year, rumors say that Mccartney will give a concert at the Summer Festival in Lucca (Italy) in 2018, along with an unlikely meeting of Pink Floyd to give a unique concert on the walls of the city of Lucca. The first is more credible, since there are many possibilities of a European tour for Paul in spring ... summer in Europe / United Kingdom ... but the meeting is of Pink Floyd ... it is very doubtful

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
Next week will be announced the next and last great artist for the Festival of Lucca 2017 in Italy ... maybe Paul? Maybe just three concerts in June in Europe as in 2013, before the big jump to US tour? One detail ... or maybe a clue, On the Facebook page of the Lucca Summer festival, there is a new photo background with the logo of the medieval wall surrounding the town of Lucca. Perhaps the Italian concert promoter Mimmo D?Alessandro now has obtained the permits of the city council to organize a great concert in the walls to house 50,000 people .... ? A greeting to hope!

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
The Rolling Stones will do a European tour from June 3 to July 14 (including date in Barcelona). This means that there will be no Paul concerts in Europe in those days. But ... if the rumors of the concert at the festival in Lucca (Italy) are true, I think there might be a mini tour of Europe in mid-July. Now the fun begins !

Well everybody, things have changed and it seems like Italy's out of the game for now. Promoters have announced that negotiations to bring Paul's new tour to Lucca have FAILED, adding that there might be a chance for next year, although I find it quite hard (and not really reliable) to predict what will happen next year I guess Promoters just needed an easy way out, they did a terrible job this time around. Well, not that I care too much since the setlist sounds pretty much the same as always, it's starting to get boring. But it's a pity for those fans who have never had the chance to see him live yet.
"ONE ON ONE".... new tour??? no is "OUT THERE" part. 2 setlist disappointing. There will be no show in Lucca!!!!! .... double disappointment, really wait more than a month to travel to Lucca ... and now ... nothing. OKAY! I'll be at the show in Madrid on June 2 .... and "THE END" I think Paul has become too comfortable and not feel like experimenting with new songs in concert. Does anyone think a big change in the setlist of this new tour?

I wouldn't count Luca, Italy out yet. I looked up that festival and it last the whole month of July. Paul starts July 8th and ends around July 21 which would give room to add. July and Agust still in a state of flux
It is becoming more complicated a concert in Lucca. The only two possibilities for the "SUMMER FESTIVAL" of Lucca, is the June 22 or July 2, In some previous editions of the festival, some shows are held in June. 2005 June 19 - BLUE. 2012 June 29 - TOM PETTY. 2016 June 2- GRAHAM NASH.... but I see very complicated.
You just need to be patient and you'll see it happen.
Thank you for your positive message.
