I’m taking my 8 year old daughter to see Sir Paul tomorrow in Austin for the first time and both of us couldn’t be more excited. My dad took me to see him when I was about her age in Dallas for the “Trippin the Live Fantastic” tour and I’ve seen him about seven times since then. It’s always an amazing show and I feel blessed to be able to share my love with my daughter.

I was wondering if anyone knows why Yesterday got dropped from the setlist for ACL? Think he’ll change things up for the second weekend? I seem to remember him changing a song or two at Coachella from one weekend to the next?  I assume he has some time constraints since it’s a festival and maybe some songs don’t work as well in this setting as they do in an arena?

I was in the 6th row in Austin for the show on the 22nd and we stood almost the entire show. This was my seventh Macca concert and it was the loudest crowd I've been a part of - amazing! Took my dad and girlfriend and they both agreed it was one of the best concerts they've been to. Paul's voice is in superb shape and was the best it's been since the 02 tour. Talk about a testament to the vegetarian lifestyle. I actually felt a bit bad for the people behind me as I'm about 6'4 (see, Sasquatch) but if I sat down then I couldn't see. Loved being on the floor and the energy down there but the guilt of blocking other people's view is a bit of a downer. Anyway, enjoy the show! I wish I could make a trip to see him again!
