Not sure why I keep looking. It's crazy how many "verified resales" tickets there are. $4000 front row, $1600 side row... We've been following Paul and loving him and his music for a long time, but looks like we'll sit this one out. Don't know if it's Paul or Ticketmaster getting rich(er), but congrats to those who can pay that much. I have kids and grandkids who could always use help (not to mention so many others out in this crazy world now), so it doesn't make sense to me to pay those prices. I'll give my money to them and listen to Paul on vinyl.

Well deserved. Great crowds there! Much better than the embarrassed to express themselves North American crowds.
What??? You wrote that just to get replies, right? Our group has never been embarrassed to express themselves, and as we get older, it's even more true. We're still hoping he adds more US venues. We've got a few vowing to get onstage with him!

This is all easily traceable back to the greed some of us were attempting to discuss in another thread. Paul simply doesn't care. He walks out with his cool million and a guarantee of a packed house no matter what...and he isn't the only one. It will never change. These big rock legends have about another decade MAX of this level of activity and popularity so they're going to soak it up for the rest of their lives.
Too bad these rock legends don't do what JK Rowlings has done to try and prevent scalpers from getting tickets to Harry Potter show in London. My family will be going to London and see it in December and you don't even get a ticket. You go to the box office the day/evening of the show to get ticket and need to show proof of purchase and photo id of the person who bought the tickets. I will also mention this show is reasonably priced especially when you compare it to seeing "Hamilton" in NYC.
Another excellent option! They simply don't care.
You are right, they are getting their money and that is all that matters. They know there is a market out there that will let them charge anything they want and will sell out. Does anybody really think the McCartney team cares about the fans on this board getting to see him in concert? I truly understand an artist wanting to make money but in his case he is a billonaire and can afford to make the prices more reasonable and still make a nice profit. In addition, think of the money he makes in merchandising when you are selling a t-shirt for $35-$50. Also, it seems to me he makes a bit of money (lol) on his sound check package and people are not even very close to the stage.
Once again, I will give major credit to JK Rowlings. She took real control of her show and has a system where real fans are going and at affordable price for theater. I believe she knows with the prices she charges she will still make quite a bit of money and that is not even including the amount of merchandise that is sold for the shows. She has proven it can be done, I wish others would follow her lead.
The man is pushing 80 years old. I highly doubt he stays up at night worrying about how tickets are sold. He has a fee, and promoters charge a price they need to, to cover his fee and make money. Paul gets his $$$ regardless of 1 ticket being sold, or all tickets sold.
This ridiculous whining is so over the top and ridiculous by the "adults" here. Tickets were readily available for all to purchase, so as long as you can use a computer properly, and read basic instructions. Embarrassing to compare ticket sales to his show to Harry Potter LOL.
Maccaroni74...love your name, since our group graduated in 74. Wondering, though..."tickets were readily available for all to purchase?" Well...we generally can use a computer properly and we generally read basic instructions, but we did NOT get a presale password or code through email, and we do NOT carry AMEX, so I don't think "readily available for all" is the correct scenario. Bless your heart, we still love Paul and band and still hope to see him this time around, but you're not correct. We had NO chance for presale tickets. Not whining this time...just stating facts. Hope you got great tickets!

Really bummed that this presale is all Amex. Out of the 8 of us (in our 60's now) who follow him faithfully and have for awhile, only one has Amex, so that wouldn't work. Surely someone out there realizes that a lot of diehard fans don't carry that card...or do they just not care? Really, really disappointed in this presale. Hoping that he also adds more US sites, but that might not matter.
One more whine...after having been registered for a long time on the pm.com website, got no presale password or code.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Will try for the regular sale, but looks like seeing Paul and band again might not happen. We've had such good times over the years. We have 8 or so in our group, and I'm letting them down. Whine over...fingers crossed...

RE: Wichita, KS, Intrust Bank Arena, 7/19/17- CONFIRMED
They renamed the street names when he was in Tulsa a few years ago. May have done that with others, too. Pretty cool! When we were in Little Rock last time, we got to see him leave the hotel to go to the venue, and several of our group got high-fives from him. I was too awestruck to think to move over a few feet and get in that line.
ops: I did get his autograph on my Revolver album years ago in Omaha. Once again, I stood there jumping up and down like a teenager (which I'm definitely not), and my husband had the presence of mind to pass it up when he was signing something else. We've been on limo watch several times, and always love being able to see him and wave, and love seeing his band members and even his security people. Just glad he's still touring and SO glad he's coming to Kansas!

Is there anything going on before the Wichita concert? Any place to be? Can't wait to see Paul and the band!!

RE: Members face-value ticket offers and requests
I have 2 tickets to see Paul in Wichita on July 19 that I need to sell. We actually have a group going and ended up with two too many. I have 2 seats in section 102 row B that I would sell for $220 each...below what I paid. Or...I have Floor 1, Row 3, 2 seats that I would sell for $240 each, which is also below the price for tickets and convenience fees. My fault for buying the floor when I already had 102, but I couldn't resist 3rd row floor! Both sets are great seats. I need to sell either of these 2 sets to keep peace in my house (and my heart). I can overnight them Monday early if paid through Paypal, or it looks like I can forward them through selectaseat. Please message me with any offers. Help!

RE: Wichita, KS, Intrust Bank Arena, 7/19/17- CONFIRMED
lauralovespaul:
I purchased a ticket for the Wichita show at the pre sale. I've not received a confirmation email, but it has shown up on my charge card statement. Has anyone else had this problem for this particular show? I purchased tickets to OKC this morning and my confirmation email showed almost immediately.
You might check your Spam folder. It came from "Songkick", and I almost deleted it. We got tickets on the fan presale, and a friend who got them on the venue presale already has tickets in hand! Funny how that works. Wish we could go to OKC, too. Fun!!

RE: Wichita, KS, Intrust Bank Arena, 7/19/17- CONFIRMED
We have a group of 12 going and all got tickets in 102 on the presale.
Hoped for 101 or, of course, floor, but we're happy we're close together with pretty decent tickets, and couldn't get anything on the regular sale. Most of us graduated together (high school) many years ago and saw him last in Little Rock, KC, St. Louis, Tulsa, Omaha...etc., etc. Glad for the chance to see him and his band again!
