I recently recorded and released this Carl Perkins tune "Forever Yours" with UK singer Dominic Halpin. Carl was an amazing writer and it was a joy to do this song. I had read that Paul and Carl were friends and so I wanted to share it, to honor Carl. I don't know if I am allowed to post a link to our recording, so if it's not allowed please forgive me, I am new here. Harmonica player Howard Levy takes a great solo on it as well https://susiebluelonesomefellas.bandcamp.com/track/forever-yours

My first record at age 3 was "We Can Work it Out"
My parents were young when I was born so I grew up with them, listening to the Beatles and later Wings. My first 45 single was "We Can Work it Out" and I played it on my little plastic record player every day when I was 3. Then my parents gave me more 45 records like "Paperback Writer", "Yesterday" and "Michelle" I grew up listening and now I am a musician and singer myself, and I wouldn't be making music without Paul and the Beatles.
