RE: How long does it take to get tickets ordered via CrowdSurge?
Triplets Love Paul:
StacyT:
Just wondering, I purchased my tickets over two weeks ago through PM's website using CrowdSurge and I still haven't received my tickets. Is this site legit & if not why is it being used on Paul's website? Just wondering if I need to put in a complaint to my credit card company in order to get my $500+ back. Frustrated.
Hi Stacy, Choosing standard mail delivery, tickets purchased via CrowdSurge typically arrive about ten days to two weeks prior to the concert date, but they may arrive earlier. Please note the ticket delivery policy for CrowdSurge: http://www.crowdsurge.com/index.php?menu=faq
When will I receive my tickets? Please note that generally all tickets are sent 2-4 weeks before the show. This is because for most shows we receive the tickets for the event ourselves 2-4 weeks before event date. Once your ticket order has been dispatched you will receive an automated email notification*. Should your selected delivery method contain a tracking number/reference, this will included in the email notification for you to monitor the delivery status. * please insure that you do check your spam/junk email filters as this email notification can be blocked as spam by certain email applications. You can also log in to your account on [CrowdSurge[/color">](http://www.crowdsurge.com/?link=69c3c150&menu=custlogin&cs_css=crowdsurge]<strong><span style=) to check whether your tickets have been sent and retrieve your Tracking Reference Number where applicable. If you?re unable to log in then please refer to our [account log in help page[/color">](http://api.crowdsurge.com/crowdstore/index.php?link=f6ad73c1&menu=faq&storeid=172&cs_css=crowdsurge&cat=account]<strong><span style=). If the event is less than 5 days away and you still have not received any Dispatch Confirmation email then please use the link at the bottom of this page to send us a query. Please include your Order ID number, email address that the tickets were purchased with and the details about the relevant show.

Thanks - that's a big relief to me. I'll be sure to check their site.

RE: New tour name same songs
martinput:
I'm reading members regretting this tour isn't supporting a new album release. Yet we're getting massive pre-release publicity for the Wings Over America and Rockshow DVD reissues. I'm personally expecting to see this tour support that release with the set-list and possibly the stage presentation having more than just echoes of that original 1975-76 tour. I recall recent tour material supported and promoted the Good Evening New York City CD and DVD release so expect to see Wing Over America and Rockshow feature heavily in the tour programme. So maybe not new songs - but different ones? Not long to wait now until the grand unveiling of the new tour - the new staging itself seems to be upping the ante from recent tours already.... Martin
I personally would LOVE to hear some songs from the Wings Over America tour - they are some of my all time favorites

RE: Tulsa, OK, BOK Center, May 29th - ARCHIVE

Thanks for the great info. Where bars could a couple of guys in their 20s go to take/meet some nice young lady friends before or after the show?
I'll have to do some research on that one. One area that might be what you are looking for is Brookside. This website covers the area. It's about 3 miles south of the BOK. http://brooksidetheplacetobe.com/ Another area that's near downtown is Cherry Street, also known as 15th street between Peoria and Lewis. I's closer to the BOK than Brookside. This links says it lists the hottest bars in Tulsa. Some are downtown, some are in Brookside and some are on Cherry Street. http://voices.yahoo.com/the-top-10-hottest-bars-tulsa-oklahoma-5123625.html
Cherry Street district is a great place for pubs/bars & smaller eating establishments. The Half Moon Cafe is really good. Also, 18th & Boston area (downtown) has some lively bars as well & is a good place to meet college-age & twenty-somethings. I lived in Tulsa for many years & am now, sadly, in OKC. But I know the area well if anyone has questions.

RE: Who Gets The Front Row Center Tickets? Friends, Charities?
SusaninAustin2:
Just curious.
Who is usually in the front row, center stage for Sir Paul's concerts? Is it friends, charities, celebrities? Or is it local politicians's families, radio station or PR staff's friends, etc. Personally I'm hoping that it is charities or people pushing for a better environment on all levels along with personal friends ('cause friends make the show personal and more intimate). Being new to this forum I have noticed all the signatures that list all the shows y'all have been to, so who better to ask? So what's the story if I may enquire?
I only know from one of my personal friends. She knew someone who was friends with the drummer & she got front row center seats from her friend who didn't want to go. I guess it's all in who you know. : (

RE: PAUL AND NANCY ARE MARRIED!
Paul McCartney will wed fiancée Nancy Shevell at the same venue he married late wife Linda, it was revealed Friday. The musician, 69, and Shevell, 51, who announced their engagement in May, have posted their notice that they intend to get married at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, in London
Only sad that they picked the same place as he & Linda. Those two were soulmates...

RE: The ..2012.... Political thread
[quote="Fan Since 1964 Hi StacyT,
You owe it to yourself to find answers to the questions that are causing your mistrust of Obama/Biden.
We are in the worst economic shape since The Great Depression and McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time and we are in this mess. The Great Depression was an American problem but the present economic woes are "global" in nature. President Bush is going to host an emergency G8 meeting this weekend to avoid the possible collapse of the "global" economy. Plus, Gov. Palin brings the baggage of "Troopergate" and abuse of her power as Governor with her to the Republican ticket. She is a heartbeat away from the Presidency and that is scary to me. Why anybody would want to continue on the present path by voting for McCain is beyond me. Knowledge is bliss and the choice is yours. Happy information searching.
Thanks for the nice words & for not bashing me for not agreeing with the majority. I understand a lot of people are scared of many things going on, the unknown & are just plain frustrated right now & I am too. Worried about my husband's 401K & how much worth it has lost. But we'll get through. Most of all, I just wish the people in our country could come together & put aside so many differences & see each other as equals for once. Nice to dream of a beautiful world...and Peace in the Neighbourhood---"...helping each other out."

To the undecided voters: I, personally, want the "Change" that Obama/Biden are offering.
I personally am afraid of the unknown "changes" that Obama/Biden are offering. When you don't know much about a person, it makes it difficult to put your trust in them.
