RE: Seeing Multiple Concerts of Tour
Everyone's situation is different. Even though there's probably a devil somewhere with Paul's soul in his pocket he is 71 and every time I see him may be the last time. I go as much as I can and I sit up front because I can afford it. I've been to the 12/12/12 concert, Live Aid, and a host of others. When I look back on the great times I've had seeing Paul I never think about the money. Some people say to me "If I get in free I'd go but I'd wouldn't pay that much." Fine, then sit in your house and don't do anything.

RE: PETITION: PUT HOPE OF DELIVERANCE BACK IN
I'm mystified by this. To me it's a nothing song, especially for Paul. I'm glad he didn't play it last night. In fact, last night had the fewest clinkers of anytime I've seen him, ever.

that's what I figured, i actually saw Bloomberg. the brooklyn bourough president was there too. Stella was there; she tweeted a pic from backstage before the show. Supposedly Barbara Walters was there (Nancy's cousin as we all know) but didn't see her; someone I know thought she saw her; guess we should watch the View tomorrow to see if she mentions it. Tommy Hilfiger was there. Cameron Diaz was sitting at the end of one of my friend's rows.
Bloomberg walked pass me twice and my friend was laughing because he's so short. In fact, my friend wanted me to take a picture standing next to Paul Simon because he's a foot shorter than me. But I didn't go for that one. Paul Simon was very low key throughout the whole show but was very gracious to everyone that came up to him. Whether people wanted to shake hands or take a picture, he obliged. He didn't even stand until Hey Jude and was probably the only one not singing along. I told Lorne Michaels to get him to sing but he just laughed.

Fantastic show. But of course, we all knew it would be. I was sitting next to the "other" Paul. Next to him is a client of my old firm, Lorne Michaels.

Who just walked in causing a stir down below???
It was Clinton. Which also is the reason there was heavy security on the floor. He was 10 rows back in the center.
Did you actually see Clinton? I was sitting in the first rows of the second section and I saw all the security coming in with the Mayor and that created quite a stir. The bourough president was there too. Didn't see Clinton.
It wasn't Clinton. It was Bloomberg.

Wait, where is this about, and where it the original post? McCartney was in Vienna last night.
they are talking about the Brooklyn, NY concerts which are happening this weekend. Looks like Paul zipped into Vienna, yes, but he has to be back in NYC by Saturday.
Why was he in Vienna for a day? He sure has a large footprint!
Opening of an exhibit of Linda's photos there.
Funny, I'm having an exhibit of Linda's photos tomorrow. And as long as he's in Brooklyn anyway, he can drop by.

RE: What would you name Paul's next tour ?

Paul over New Jersey
Otherwise known as the anti-pollution tour? I've gone to lots of concerts and I have absolutely no clue what any of the tours were called. Nor do I care. I know what the special shows that I've been to were called because they were one of a kind like Live Aid, Simon & Garfunkel in Central Park, Last Play at Shea, first show at Citifield, etc. Or I might know a tour by what they played like the Who's Tommy tour. Concerts fall into three categories. Concerts I've been to, concerts I haven't been to, and concerts I didn't want to go to.
