I've seen every single tour since 1973 and have never had a problem with Paul's set. What is wrong with you guys? Seeing Paul perform ANYTHING is awesome. Yes, we all have our favourites and there are songs I'd personally like to hear, but Paul's no fool. He'll go for what the majority of fans will want. Frankly, it's just the atmosphere of the concert that's important to me - I'm not too bothered about the setlist. Having said all that, I almost passed out when he started 'A Day in the Life'. Now that was something I thought I'd never hear I can now die happy!

I've just dug out No 7 and can see two poems on the back. Don't know which one was yours. I've also found all my original newsletters from 1973 - a lifetime ago!

Loved Wings Fun Club. I joined quite a bit before Club Sandwich was produced and remember a lovely girl who wrote the newsletter called Claire who came from Kingswinford. Through the club I got tickets for the filming of Big Barn Bed for the James Paul McCartney TV special and also managed to get second row centre seats at the Hammersmith Odeon for Wings first proper tour. May 25th 1973 - exactly 35 years ago .

Hi Sam I'm really enjoying reading your book - you really get a different feel from this above any other book on the subject I've read. It's much better than your 'pal' Alan Williams' book.
