RE: Jimmy Buffet Picture with my niece
Thanks Nancy. Per my brother, she was "in the know" about his medical problems but still was upsetting.

Jimmy Buffet Picture with my niece
My youngest niece had Jimmy Buffet for a client for several years and was quite upset when he passed away. She knew him well enough that he offered his place to her in Manhattan to stay with her sisters after attending Billy Joel concert. See picture from year ago in Malibu.

RE: McCartney writes first musical, stage version of...
I went to a Broadway web site and poster asked question about this and somebody answered today. See below.
"He was talked into the project by Bill Kenwright, the don of cheap-as-chips touring in the UK, who had been his classmate at the Liverpool Institute when they were kids. BK has never been great at keeping too many plates spinning; he's got four productions running right now -- Heathers in London and on tour, Blood Brothers on the road (again), Ian McKellen in Frank and Percy, a musical of Calendar Girls, and Twelve Angry Men (which you wouldn't think would sell in the UK, but who knows, it seems to have "names" that would at least sell tickets in the provinces).
I think the show is neither Bill's nor Paul's biggest priority right now."

RE: New Paul Compilation for 2024
Paul does a very nice vocal on "More I Cannot Wish For" which is from my wife's favorite musical "Guys And Dolls'. Paul does change the lyrics a touch in his version. The change is "With a sheep’s eye / And a lickerish tooth" to "With a sheepish eye, / And a look of the truth." I actually like Paul's change of lyric better.

RE: The Nancy Shevell Appreciation Thread
Only reason I said "floral" skirt was because that it was the article called it. I think you are probably right, and the article is wrong. Just shocking -lol. I agree clean shaven is better look on Paul but if you are going to have facial hair, do it right and let it fully grow in.

RE: The Nancy Shevell Appreciation Thread
@oobu24
Paul and Nancy look great. I love the off the shoulder look of the black top and the floral skirt on Nancy. The jewelry goes very well with her outfit. Maybe it is me but looks like she is letting her hair get even longer which I like. Paul looks very dapper, sometimes he can dress too casually for an event/party. I am not a fan of the "scruffy" look on him or any other man in the 80's. A guy can look good "scruffy" if they are in their 20's-40's. If Paul wants to have facial hair the grow the beard in fully.
