Very hard question but will say Golden Slumbers. Love how it starts silky smooth and changes to the very raucous parts. Paul had so many kinds of vocal. I don't think anyone has used their voice in so manny diverse ways.

Mrs. Pepper:

Nick Ryder:'Call Me Back Again' is a good one too....

Absolutely!! (A very cool first post by the way! Welcome on the board).

Don't let it bring you down has great vocals, too. There are sooo many, for example With a little luck, Morse Moose, Tomorrow (especially the ending).

Beatles songs: Oh darling, Golden Slumbers, I'm down

I love all those but Golden Slumbers is my fave.

Other vocals I love include Warm & Beautiful, Let It Be, Sgt Peppers..., Let Me Roll It, Jet, Monkberry Moon Delight, Lady Madonna, Honey Pie (nice crooning), etc etc etc.

When did Paul serve in the French Foreign Legion ???? Geez how did I miss that ???

Must of been about '66 / 67' when that double took his place.

Michelley:OK, fine. I admit it. This month I left behind my 40's and joined the 50 club. But just because I am officially old does not mean I can be pushed around. After all, I share my August birthday with:

1. Sean Penn
2. Robert DeNiro
3. Mae West

Nobody better mess me with here.

I also admit I also joined the 50 clob in August. People ask do I feel much older. I say I do. I guess there is something about 50 that sounds much older than forty something. 70 doesn't seem that far away.

My memory is a bit hazy about first Macca album. I would think it might of been Ram , Red Rose Speedway or Band On The Run. Maybe I got a few all at the same time. My very first vinyl record was the Another Day 7" single. I do remember first Beatles LP it was called The Essential Beatles an Australian only 1971 compilation release and also had a couple of those 7" inch 4 track EP's. One was The Beatles Hits (Love Me Do, Please Please Me. From Me To You & Thank You Girl). The other was Yesterday with Dizzy Miss Lizzy, It's Only Love & You Like Me Too Much. I still have all of them.

RIP Jimmy. Was it that long ago. I wonder if he had of stayed with Wings would things had turned out different but maybe drugs was always going to be his downfall. He seem to be quite aware of the dangers just look at his Wings songs Medicine Jar & Win0 Junko. A waste of a great talent. Another in the long list of rock casualties caused by drugs.

moptops:Pipes Of Peace.

Send whatever existing copies remain straight to the tip.

Landfill garbage.

OK it's not Macca's best but not that bad. Some really good stuff but also a bit of filler.

Everything should be remastered except maybe from Driving Rain onward as I don't think they need it.

Maybe we will see alot of the material on bonus DVD's released with Deluxe Editions in the Remasters series. I would like to see an McCartneyAnthology type series someday. I know there was The McCartney Years but it was hardly a absolutely complete collection. Perhaps there will be a The McCartney Years II and even III someday. We can but hope.

Here's 3 different super combo's

Paul
Eric Clapton
Jeff Lynne
Barry Gibb
Ringo

I know with Ringo in there people will call it a quasi Beatles reunion but so be it. It is a supergroup and Ringo is a super drummer.

or alternately

Paul
Mark Knopfler
Pete Townsend
Elton John
Phil Collins

and another group I fantasized about when I was much younger. I thought it would be a brilliant combination -

Paul
Agnetha Faltskog
Anni-Frid Lyngstad
Bjorn Ulvaeus
Benny Andersson

Yes that's right Paul joins ABBA and call it PABBA.

Yes that's right Paul joins ABBA and call it PABBA.

Their first singles could be "Dancing Queen Tonight" b/w "Another Town Another Train Another Day" and "Only Mamma Mia Knows" b/w "Under Cover Attack".

This would make a good Aussie market single Bang-A-Boomerang b/w Ode to a Koala Bear

Here's some more Paul/ABBA collaborations:

Pretty Little Head Over Heels
I'll Give You A Ring Ring
Ballroom Dancing Queen
Our Last Summer's Day Song
Ram On And On And On
Beware My Love, My Life

What are some other Paul/ ABBA tracks people can come up with ?
