Earthmom1952... I am so sorry to hear of your loss... Love does never die. I just read a very interesting and provocative book on just that subject. It was called "Barn Dance" by James Twyman. It was very moving ...

"two men broke into my former wife's home and brutally ended her young life. Linda was my closest and dearest friend, and the terrible loss was deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her. Three and a half years later, guided by a series of visions and dreams, I was mystically drawn to a barn deep in the Nevada wilderness where Heaven and Earth collide and magic changes lives. This is not the story of a tragic loss, but a love story that will reveal a world you never imagined"

Being with my mother at the very end, her last gift to me, which I feel was given to me to share with everyone. She had been eyes closed for at least 4 days and my family sat vigil. My sister after meditation decided to leave back to her home, telling me that she was sure that my mother wanted to be alone with me for her death. I sat with her, held her hand and just tried to give her comfort... as telepathically and physically as I could. Suddenly, after days, she opened her eyes...very wide... with a look of awe and wonder... Knowing her as I did, I saw the look in her eyes, she saw something very beautiful... she looked, transfixed, as her eyes slowly traveled upwards.... a radiant smile on her face. Up, up went her eyes until the spark of life left... and she was gone. It was the most moving thing I will ever witness. I have no doubts that there is heaven, and she went there. I saw it... And yet I feel her presence around me at times... When I read the book above, I understand it. Love never leaves... I have similar stories at my father's death and he made quite a few signals, un-mistakeable to everyone in the room. It is true. Before he died, he said "Daddy" with excitement, like he had just seen his long dead father. I believe it... The nurses at the nursing home told me that they see this all the time.

Have any of you met people in your dreams... like telepathy? There is a whole undiscovered thing around this. I find it interesting and also comforting. You just need to stay open...

This sounds interesting... http://www.dream-dancing.com/

love2travel:Hey Jempuu... I thought Paul was supposed to meet you at every 1000th post... did you see him? I just had my 2000th post and I've been looking for him to show up!

what???

Just something I read somewhere on here one time.... that Paul meets everyone here on their 1000th posts, 2000 posts etc. I thought of it when I saw Jempuu's post. Must have been one of the guys, trying to get the girls all excited here... just passing on some fun... and everyone's secret wish I'm sure. We all know he is really busy...

Kevin Willetts:Here is a new painting I've done of Paul in about 1973 during those Wings days. There were some terrific albums and concerts from Wings....

Kevin.

I really love this one too. I see why you framed it Kevin. I am enjoying seeing your paintings so much... Thanks so much

Kevin,

I've always wondered what you are peeking out from behind in your avatar. Is that a canvas?

GYPSYGIRL:I I'm half tempted to say that I've kidnapped David & have turned him into a pinny model & have been making a fortune with the photos I've taken! There! Now this should bring him outta the woodwork again!

David, come out from where you are hiding. At least say hello. We miss you.

I'm not been here as work has taken over again! But I;m not here really now as I am not feeling great. Got a chest infection and it's agrovating my asthma. Got to go.

Oooooh pinny model.... nothing like a man in a pinny....

Man in a pinny - oooh, now that made me smile

ok, maybe not totally related to a man in a pinny but I apparently missed a man in his underpants coming out of his caravan when I was out doing a night time survey, My volunteer saw him and didn't say anything (until at the end) I was wondering why she was smiling so much.

I bet he got quite a shock as it is wasn't a public footpath

Honestly, how on earth can I miss a man in his underpants.

I'll take either one of those... man in a pinny or underpants... bringing me breakfast in bed....
You two keep getting me worked up with these thoughts...

Hetty... next time, make sure she calls you over....

Will try to ....but then if I get distracted by a man in a pinny or his underpants, then i probably wouldn't be able to concentrate on the job in hand.

I was going to say that this is one of the highlights of doing night work.... but I'll refrain myself because ecological consultants should know better.... ops: ....

I'm just glad it wasn't my boss out with me because actually I would have been picked up fon it or health and safety.

Getting "worked up" with these thoughts ... don't worry about it, love2travel. I just like a little giggle. : :

Here now as I've got a day off but not for long....

Hetty.... You are too funny... now get back to concentrating on that job!!!

love2travel:Kevin,

hmm..no not a canvas, although could have been when I was at art school! in fact it's a jacket...on a coat stand... when I was younger I sat in front of a mirror and did a self portait! years ago .... reminds me a bit of Paul's brother Mike with his marvelous early photographs! The things we get up to when we are younger...

Kevin.

A coat, of course.... oh yeah... the tings we get up to when we are younger!!!
