I thought it was a great performance. What are the odds the two tour together again?

I'm very skeptical of that, especially this year. Ringo is already committed to an All-Starr Band tour, and I can't see Paul pushing Abe out at this point.

I hope they don't. Paul's set lists are Beatles-heavy enough as it is. A Twotles nostalgia tour would be unbearable.

THIS.

I would absolutley LOVE Paul and Ringo to tour together. They should do an album first. That would be the ultimate for me .

oh God no. :

Oh Goodness Yes .

I am with stuart on this one and quite honestly am very puzzled by the negativity. Am I missing something? Why wouldn't this be a good thing? Obviously a full-fledged Beatles reunion will never happen but why would you be so adamantly against Paul and Ringo touring together? Is this just the hip thing to say?

You can be on any side that you like...that's what opinions are all about. We are all different. Watch the voting in his poll for them to do an album together.

Yeah....and you're (obviously) entitled to your opinion too. I am just curious why you would be opposed to them touring. I am not really concerned about the album part...but a few tour dates? Kind of like Page and Plant reuniting back in the 90s. It wasn't a Led Zeppelin reunion but it was still cool to see the two of them play together again.

side note, how do you get images in your signature?

And similarly, I like the fact that they occasionally give each other a little help on various solo works...but wouldn't want to see a full album intended to be joint top billing (or worse, 'The Beatles')

Paul & Ringo would never do that anyway. (go on tour as "The Beatles")

Yeah they wouldn't do that. I have heard people suggest they should have John and George's kids join in and then have a reunion. This, I have no desire to see. Ever. But Paul and Ringo together. You bet.

Was "this" close to buying tix for the 2013 Fenway show...luckily Washington DC was announced like two days later though! Still, Boston woulda been fun.

Being that I'm also a former Fairfax County resident (graduated from Lake Braddock HS in Burke and my dad now lives a couple of hours south down in VA Beach), I was actually in a similar position, but with the shoe on the other foot

The trick was that I had already scheduled a trip to FL the very next morning after the Paul concert, and we had to leave very early in the AM...so I considered other NE venues, both well before and well after my scheduled vacation...but ultimately stuck with the local venue and dealt with the serious red eye the next day (I could catch up on my sleep the next night anyway...LOL)

Lack of sleep is a small price to pay for McCartney live....no matter the venue! I for one didn't get much sleep that night anyway...layed awake reliving the whole night over and over....

Not sure if this is a blasphemous question but has anyone ever seen a Beatles tribute band? I am going to see one in Miami (called 1964 The Tribute) and it's being billed as a 50th anniversary show...even taking place at the same Miami hotel where the Beatles performed on Feb 16, 1964. Anyway, I don't have the highest of expectations. Don't get me wrong, I know it will be fun and a good time, just not sure how convincing the sound will be.

left hand man:My comment is about their performance of Queenie Eye at the Grammys.

It was ok, a so so song that didn't really get the crowd excited. They should have rocked the house with something way more upbeat and exciting.

If McCartney wanted to do one of his new songs, he should have done I Can Bet! Now that song would get the crowd going and would of been a serious party starter. Queenie Eye is just a nice safe little song. I say again, they should have rocked, they should have come out and hit the crowd with a hot rocking version of Birthday or McCartney could of even done Hi Hi Hi. Talk about rocking the house!

Overall except for Robin Thicke with Chicago and Ringo doing Photograph, the Grammys was absolutely terrible! Some of the absolute worst acts I've seen! Totally boring, nobody rocked, and it was just unexciting.

I seriously miss the days of really talented acts and good musicians!

It was the first time I watched the Grammy's in probably 10 years and I only watched for Paul and Ringo. I did, however, also enjoy the Metallica performance of One.

Yeah I found that out a few years ago....I went there a few years ago with my wife (as you can see in my signature) and whenever I am feeling nostalgic about my trip to London, I log on to view the Abbey Road webcam! ( I have issues, I know!).
