Saw this Tuesday night in Santa Cruz, CA.
Loved it...I wanted more.
My only 2 slight critiques is that I wish there wasn't so much jumping around in years...from early '60's to ,late 60's and back to early '60's. Also wish the songs were the Beatles versions, such as "Twist n' Shout", "Boys", "Mr. Postman", etc.
But overall I really enjoyed it. I would love to sit with Freda and have a cuppa tea and see if she would tell me more. ;-)
What a fabulous picture!!! Thanks for posting it.
I have listened to it a couple times...and I will give it an A - .
The only 2 tracks that are cringe worthy for me and I skip because of the vocals are "Early Days" and "Hosanna".
Otherwise, it's a great CD.
Do you think any tracks will get any airplay on the radio?
Used to have "Hello/Goodbye", now it is "Lady Madonna".
Recent purchases are the "New" CD and the issue of Rolling Stone magazine with the article about Paul. Not crazy about the cover photo, but love the inside photos.
I'm So Tired
I heard Queenie Eye on the radio yesterday!
(KPIG on the central coast of California)
Today is my birthday, and as I had asked, I received a copy of Lewisohn's book. Can't wait to dig into it!
I didn't buy them, but for my birthday today I received the "Tune In" book by Lewishon and "Live @ the BBC Vol. 2" CD set. Can't wait to read the book and listen to the CD's!
