Great pictures! Was this the actual view from the 15th row or did you zoom in? I have 13th row in Cincy and have never been on the floor before, I was just wondering what kind of view to expect.
I bought a program in Nashville last year and think it's a nice souvenir. I had bought a shirt in Miami so I didn't buy another one. I won't buy a program in Cincinnati since I have such a recent one though. Not sure about a shirt either--$40 is a lot for a T-shirt.
I just bought my daughter a bunch of Beatles notebooks and folders to start school. I couldn't believe there were so many available! She got Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's, and Hard Day's Night.
brettb3:Try reading the comments under the video on Heck, if you read the comments section under any story on my hometown paper's website, the vast majority of comments are negative. It doesn't matter what the subject is.
This is absolutely true. I stopped reading comment sections completely because of this. It could be a feel good story about someone surviving cancer and half the comments are idiots making fun of the way the person looks or turning it into a nasty political fight over the health care law. It wouldn't have mattered how good Paul sounded, there are always atrocious comments.
I agree with Michelley that he should retire from live TV appearances after the Olympics. As far as touring goes, I think he should do it as long as he is enjoying it and the fans are still getting a thrill from seeing him live (and clearly many are).
My hubby bought me the Time Magazine a couple of days ago. Some great pictures and a pretty good summary of Paul's life.
I don't know if it was mentioned elsewhere, but USA Today newspaper had a big front page article yesterday about The Beatles turning 50. No new info really but some nice insight on why their legacy endures.
I just bought my daughter an Abbey Road backpack for starting 7th grade in a few weeks. Her old one with The Beatles logo lasted for 2 years but is tearing on the bottom.
I must have bought us a dozen of different Beatles T-shirts over the last couple of years, and we wear them a lot. We went to a car show today (my husband shows his Model T) and I thought it was interesting that we passed 3 people in a span of about 5 minutes wearing Beatles shirts--all young people, teens or 20's. I think that's awesome.
St. Louis is 6 hours for us. That's the weekend of my 15th wedding anniversary...pretty sure the hubby will agree to letting that be our celebration
Nancy R: "flaming pie" Good one!
Yes, that made me laugh out loud too!
I am very frustrated trying to figure out all this presale stuff
Where did you get reservations? I have no idea where to stay.
So am I right that if you are not planning to buy one of the expensive packages, the first presale opportunity is still Wednesday?
