[quote="SusyLuvsPaul"]Well...to be fair, though, don't people in rows on the ground floor and even elsewhere feel they must remain seated, else they'll block the view of the people right behind them? Wouldn't that inhibit their getting up and dancing a lot?

OF COURSE NOT!!!! Everyone on the floor usually stands! You don't pay that kind of money to sit!

I still say that in cities where he plays a 2 nighter, he should advertise one night as Beatles night & one night as (last 30 years)Wings & solo night. I bet a lot of us would still go to both nights!

rich n:I thought I would share this.

I recently asked my friends' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President of the United States . Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there. So I asked her, "If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do?" She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people." Her parent beamed.

"Wow...what a worthy goal," I told her. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my driveway, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house."

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"

I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her parents still aren't speaking to me

LOVE IT!!! Reminds me of my company putting up a Now Hiring banner at a fast food restaurant in downtown Chicago. A homeless guy comes up begging for money. They had also watched the guy "working" other people across the street. Anyway, putting up a now hiring banner & him asking for a hand out...duh...go apply for the job. No thanks & he walks away

That's because at least begging brings in enough for him to live. The crappy, minimum-wage McJob - not so much.

Actually I highly doubt that. It wasn't at mickey ds BTW & it also offered health insurance.
