Podgie you are absolutely the most talented monkey I have ever seen Oh and when I see you in your painting mode, oh, I must say what a turn on
It's the beret, and the french accent right?...now I know where Paul was going with his story before the song Michelle (at art school with the fake french accent...trying to pick up birds). Remember it's pronounced "Poj-jay" now, not "Pog-gee". Podgie (I'm sounding just like Maurice Chavalier...wee wee) Monkey

Mum has inspired me to delve back into my artistic side...yup, Podgie (accent grovel over the e...I don't have a key for that on my computer)...zee arteest, wee! Ah hav acquired ze french accentt...and have gotten out my colour markers. I believe that any work of art can be improved if I can get my hold on it...really, I mean any art...doesn't matter how famous, I can make it even better. I shall commence convincing you.... Okay, the first work of art...Munch's "The Scream", I thought I would start with this one, Mainly because it was just stolen recently from the museum in Oslo where it was on display. I do have to wonder who in their right mind would steal this...my guess, if I was a detective on the case, would be a mad scientist or evil dictator. It just doesn't strike me as something you would want hanging in your living room...would be neat in a chemistry lab or dark castle palace. Anyway, I feel bad for the museum that it was stolen from. I painted a new one...only much better... I wonder if Paul ever has one of those days? Podgie (what a scream!) Monkey
ROTFLMHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An Original Pozhay...oolala!

Ah Tank u vera much, ah am steel en ma paintas...how we say...mind frame. Moving along...Vermeer, Paul, I think wrote the song "Mistress and Maid" about a Vermeer painting...so it seems appropriate to fix a Vermeer. I have studied Vermeer's "Gentleman and Girl with Musical Instruments"...I can't see any musical instruments in the painting? Can You? Go look at the original. It is just screaming to be fixed. Well, here it is..."Gentleman and Girl with REAL Musical Instruments!" Es Magnifeek, no?! Ah Masterpiece! Poj-gee (zee French Paintur) Minkey

Just don't go and cut off your ear, okay Podgie? Then you wouldn't be able to hear Paul's CDs...well, only half hear them. :

Half is the perfect word to describe my style...In painting, I am not slow and I am not fast...I am... half fast. I suffer for my art! Cut off an ear?! Man, that is real suffering, naw...I'll just leave the suffering for the folks who look at my art. Podgie (wear shades...it helps!) Monkey

It's getting late out here on this coast. I am not sure what to do with Brian, what work of art can you picture him in? I need some ideas. It is hard to find good pictures of the band also, there only seems to be a few good photos to choose from. I'll have to think up something. Maybe tomorrow. Podgie (time for bed) Monkey UPDATE...new Podjay masterpiece found...added to Brian Ray thread... Fig leaf added to protect the innocent. Podgie (pronounced Podjay...just while I have the painters cap on) Monkey

Looking at all that art, well I was inspired, or insipid... Hemmingway, one of my favorite is Georges Seurat's A Sunday on La Grand Jatte. I love the Chicago Art Institute, which is where this lives. And it is really huge. It takes up the whole wall. So here is my impression... I'm thinking "Cafe on the Left Bank" or "Ou Est le Soleil " To see the bigger picture, clique a key. or aqui: Grande
