Yay!! This stupid board's slowed right down again though.
-
yes.. It's really slow now.. took me ages just to be able to write this. I'm so sleepy right now, and a slow board is the last thing I need now, so I'll go now.. I have a french test tomorrow Take care! Hope you have a nice day
-
Sam Congrats on Liverpool's big win. cheers! Mike
-
Sam C Glad you got tickets -- good luck with the date! Paulfan Don't know if its too late to get tickets -- where are you shooting for atlanta? You can always find some on EBAY. Cheers! Mike
-
Woooooooooo!! (Another LFC supporter in the house!)
-
Better to be slow than stopped!
-
Atlanta for sure Mike. I had other stuff on my mind so I didn't think about the tickets. Maybe I will try ebaby sometime or go see Paul some other place if nto Atlanta.
-
eBay rocks for making a little bit of money on the side.
-
I find that ebay is a rip off, especially with all the fraud I see with that Paypal. Not to mention the "cut" they get from sellers on their products which ends up to be a percentage of the item when it used to be a flat fee. And I would not suggest getting tickets through ebay for McCartney, being that there may be scalping laws in the various states.

Searching through every pocket in the house is also a good tip I found some money I didn't even knew I had! How are you all today? Not much fun at school. I was going to have a french test today, but I said I was joining for the school choir, and they had practice then, so I didn't have to take it..

Sam C If Atlanta is sold out which I understand it is -- Paulfan really only has three options 1. Ticket brokers -- pay through the nose. 2. wait for other tickets to come on sale close to the show -- possible but chancy 3. Do it via ebay where as long as you aren't looking for the best seats in the world a lot of them are on sale face value or just slightly above. To each their own but if I were Paulfan I'd rather go on EBAY then not go to th show at all. I hear what you are saying that the prices are high but they are generally much lower then the brokers. And on EBAY you can play it conservative by only buying tickets from people with good ratings. Cheers! Mike
-
Maybe I'll try ebay or something else. I don't mind getting nosebleed seats because I will at least see Paul and there are screens there too.
-
Well, I am soon to be doing something Paul related with a big UK magazine and will give more details when I know exactly what's happening with it. Sadly it does not involve meeting or interviewing him. Today I went to an interview for a Marketing Manager's position and got through to the next stage of the recruitment process so I go in on Friday for an "observation day".

Mr. Sam Leach ! CONGRATS FOR LIVERPOOL FC VICTORY YESTERDAY !!!! Yesterday afternoon I managed to escape from my patients and went running to the next bar with TV asked beer + sandwich to see the very beggining of 2nd half. I was happy to see the human barrier of LFC defense to keep 1 X 0. And I clearly saw that even if the match could extend to next morning Chelsea attackers would not be able to score. Great victory and please drink a Guinnes [ with fish and chips ] in my place and all the luckiest against Milan kindest regards,

Mike, Quite true, but these auctions at Ebay does not guarantee you a ticket, and there are snipers at the end of the auctions that nail the items because of their powerful PCs. The only way you can get the ticket is by paying a lot more than the ticket is worth, yeah maybe you might pay a little lower than the brokers, but not much. I hope he succeeds though, but the odds may be against him unless he is willing to shell out prices 50 percent or more higher than the face value of the ticket. Then I don't know the laws of Georgia about scalping. Best, Samuel
