Yeah you need space (and money) for sure. What do you play? I play semi-acoustic & bass mostly these days.

I just love Teddy Bears..(especialy the old fashioned ones). I use to make them out of different patterned fabrics....amazing to see how just the fabric and chose of color could give the bear an entirely different looking character...so fun! I use to so enjoy making them...it was such a creative outlet for me, and I still do on occasion, only I've sold most of my bears in a craft fair. I have saved my most favorite TOILE pattern bears....they're so old fashioned looking and I have a color coordinated one in each room, except for the Bath and Kitchen, of course. They make me smile when I look at them, and also even a good snuggle now an again is always sooo nice!!

I'm a cat magnet! Went over to a friend's house & she said how some of her cats hide when peeps are over & won't come out. Right after she said that, 3 of her cats came out & were all trying to sit on my lap!

I also love collecting broken china pieces and charming miniature objects for crafting my MOSAIC birdhouses. I start with a basic wooden birdhouse..then the skies the limit! I've used brightly colored marbles, stones, buttons, even sparkling broken jewelry pieces for an eclectic mix, and a very three-dimensional effect. It's truly amazing what you can come up with ...takes just a little imagination with a sprinkling of creative talent...I surprise myself sometimes??!! Friends ask...is it hard to do...I say, give it a shot, and let the creative juices flow--then sit back and admire your very own, handcrafted work of art! Here's an example of what one would look like: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/69/166520096_824088a23a.jpg

Thanks, Gypsy!...and yes, they can be quite beautiful and so very interesting to just ponder the different shapes and bobbles and their placements on the birdhouse...always a surprise with something really special placed where you least expect it. Anyway, no, I haven't sold any as yet, but I do give them as gifts and friends seem to be very delighted to receive them. ps. the Rupert Bear charm sounds darling!
