audi:
I was a magazine editor in the '90s, and I recall one of their CDs getting a great review from our urban-music writer. Not my thing, but I can tell that Pharcyde was above the fray.
Such a premier hip hop group that doesn't get enough props IMO. 4 guys just throwing verses at amazing beats, just meshing so perfectly making tracks so rich w ideas and diversity, really dense tracks idea wise. They were basically a 2 album group unfortunately, best 2 writers were head cases..

one other sweet thing about the Pharcyde, 3 of the 4 started as dancers, so I heard an interview where Bootie Brown (thats the dudes rap name ) says he rapped how he danced.. thats cool, like makes sense there would be a connection. btw audi I just cleaned up on Elvis 45's! just went into CheapKiss and I now probably have them all. I'll make a list for you at somepoint here, my Elvis 45 collection got pretty sick. 45's I also just got: Beach Boys - Good Vibrations Beach Boys - Caroline, No Buddy Holly - Peggy Sue some 'Flo & Eddie' (Turtles) 45 Bowie - Hunk Dory LP
