2009 FLASHBACK: Don't Raise Taxes In A Recession "... the last thing you want to do is ..."
-
The thing I am waiting to hear from both sides is a concrete plan in what they actually plan to do, how they hope to accomplish this and a realitic method of accomplishing what they want with out the cutting down the other party. I have had members of both sides pushing to both extremes try to sway me to vote those ways. I tell them I want the freedom to step back and make up my mind for the best candidate I think could do the job. I want a more informed decision with a yellow journalistic approach attached to it. love doris

Why doesn't Warren Buffett & Bill Gates & the like (uber rich) just write a check out for 7-10 million a piece & be done with it already? That way they'd be in their 'correct' tax bracket. What about sports players & the music industry? Everyfrickenthing is going up up up...far too much. In this economy?

I'm in none of those 2 sides.

music industry? as for me, If nothing gets in I can't get nothing out. I mean, I have no income from music so would I still had to pay some extra tax? Yes, it seems. let's see, I must pay: -taxes for copyrighting my songs -taxes for buying my instruments -taxes for buying my studio -taxes for repairing my studio -taxes for having a website -taxes for having a bar code -taxes for my musical education (CDs, DVDs, concert tickets, internet access) and that having virtually no income!. "C'mon, why don't you record something new?" Like The Beatles said: "we want to see the money first..." (at least the money to pay those taxes)

The only hope of anything ever getting done again is to have a Democratic President AND a Democratic Congress with a super-majority. The GOP stands for doin' nothin' -- and protecting the filthy rich. How these people sleep at night is beyond me. -Matthew 19:24
and who extended the last tax break for the rich? And when He had the majority his first two years he did what with it?
But what he didn't have was a fillerbuster-proof Democratic majority. So he HAD to play ball with the GOP. They take from the needy. And give to the greedy.
Now thats a good bumper sticker!!

yes she like her chocolatte.
Of course, I have no issues with interracial couplings -- my significant-other is white. But I'm sure the Tea Party folks are just loving this. Not.
I think its the hypocrisy that shestries and make herself out to be above moral reproach and she playing to those white southern religious nuts who hate Obama's more for being black than his policy. I mean if you catering to those kind of mind set...There going to have issue with a christian woman sleeping with a man out of wedlock and he was a black man.. it going to pop their delusions. I'm guessing she lost that crowd.

At least 99.9% of the music industry is not uber-rich, actually Paul is virtually the richest one and it's not in the top fortune lists at all.

Very odd speech today addressing Palestine.

Both peoples there basically get along. I sat in on a speaker from Isreal. He stated that one of the problems they have has been media coverage. Mostly they get along . When the cameras show up and thats sometimes when a lot of the violence would start. Lights , action , Camera. love doris

"Bruce Springsteen frontrunner for Governor of New Jersey, poll finds" http://www.nme.com/news/bruce-springsteen/58183 no need for politicians to worry, cause he's not running for it. It reminds me of a poll who said Paul would be elected Prime Minister of the UK.

What am I thinking now? After watching this........
......S***!.... Do you remember that old 60's and 70's poster/t-shirt/saying 'place your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye'...... And what has happened to our 'bankers'.....precisely nothing! Why? One of the many reasons is coz the Prime Minister, David Cameron, comes from a family who have been in banking for hundreds of years. Looking after their mates! In the words of Private Frazer in Dads Army..... -
Wouldn't you think that an incumbent President wouldn't have to campaign so hard, wouldn't have to spend a lot of money .... that person could just say you know who I am ..... you've seen what I've done .... let the record speak for me. (That goes for past Presidents also).
-
Phewwww!!..... .....not that I believed for one moment he was real you understand. You have to get up very early in the day to catch me out!...... : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2042291/Alessio-Rastani-Claims-greedy-dealer-praying-recession-FAKE.html He may have been a hoaxer, but somehow I think he's probably closer to the truth than the nonsense the politicians worldwide are spouting!

Riots in Vancouver over Dick Cheney visit. They wanted him arrested and now are trying to get laws changed so if he ever visits Canada again he will be arrested and charged with crimes against humanity and taken in front of the Hague..Ah where on American TV is it showing this???? I their too busy reporting on Micheal Jackson doctor trial or Sarah Palin's vacation stops. Thousand protest on Wall streets as cops attack them and rough them up forcing them to keep the protest two blocks away. Thousand more flying in from all parts of the US. Again slipped the local medias minds?? Maybe the protester need to show up at CNN and MSNBC and Fox new doors and through a little sit in. Dylan Radigan has sign up for America to pass a constitutional law e ( having the people vote) to make it illegal to give any money by anyone to a Federal politician. Only federally funded election. It reads "No person, corporation or business entity of any type, domestic or foreign, shall be allowed to contribute money, directly or indirectly, to any candidate for Federal office or to contribute money on behalf of or opposed to any type of campaign for Federal office. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, campaign contributions to candidates for Federal office shall not constitute speech of any kind as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution or any amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Congress shall set forth a federal holiday for the purposes of voting for candidates for Federal office." to sign up for support go to this site below. http://www.getmoneyout.com/

When some protesters used the vehicle roadway (restricting, blocking traffic) on the Brooklyn Bridge & not the pedestrian walkway - they deserved to be arrested.

The people are getting tired of their tax dollars bank-rolling the greedy.

hmmm - It appears a great majority of them are unemployed - some of whom never held down much of any tax paying job. When the economy is bad - the creative flourish ... the trouble is you & I won't read about them for years to come. Food street vendors can protest too & make a good living at the same time The people are also tired of their tax dollars bank-rolling public defenders for the non-peaceful, thoughtless, and/or self serving law breakers
