That's one of the reasons Beatles songs were popping up on commercials n stuff, as publisher Jackson quite rightly done this to make as much money as possible and in doing so earned money for John's estate & Paul. ok maybe not as much as they deserved but Paul himself owns the publishing rights other artist songs. great article on Mick Taylor, shame it all ended tits up for him, for me he added a lot to the Stones music during those years.

many legends will be kicking themselves for signing away a lot of their royalties, Denny Laine done it with Mull of Kintyre for £100,000.
