Just got this question in a "Fans At Bat" survey from MLB: In which time zone do you live in? :
No way!
I blame Paul.
I'm just going to pretend that line in "Live & Let Die" is what I'd assumed it was for so many years: "...in which we're living." (there...that's better )
Check it out at 19:30 here:
Very clearly he sings "In which we live in"Well, that didn't last long.

Baby, you can drive my car. Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep NO! Should be: Baby, you may drive my car.

That's an iffy one: Both are grammatical, although people often use the term "can" -- which implies ability -- when they should be using "may," which implies that they are permitted.

On Paul's Jukebox, it has the lyrics to Maybe I'm Amazed as: Baby, I'm a man, maybe I'm a lonely man Whose in the middle of something... WRONG! Should be Who's. I know this was not Paul's grammar mistake, but who is writing and proofreading these lyrics? Think they would hire me or audi?

"You Can't Hurry Love" - The Supremes/Phil Collins "You can't hurry love No, you just have to wait She said, 'Love don't come easy' .." WHOA!!!! "Don't"? "Easy"? Nope! CORRECT: "She said, 'Love doesn't come easily." (To REALLY nitpick: "You" should be replaced with "one.")

the "does" for he and she must be the most common grammar mistake, both for English language and foreigners. "She's got a ticket to ride but she don't care" "she don't give boys the eye" etcetcetctetcetc

Ringo's It Don't Come Easy These are not what I'd call "mistakes" since the writer of the songs purposely used the word 'don't'
-
Exactly. None of them are, technically, "mistakes" -- since poetic license provides a them a solid disclaimer. I just find it amusing to make rock lyrics grammatical.

It should be "It doesn't happen easily", I think...

Poetic license rocks. I sometimes mention it on conversations, "I can kind of do anything with the language cause I've got poetic license", I mean conversations in Spanish. I use to create words... if no poetic license, there would not be any creation of words... someone has to do it. I never do it in English... here, if ever, without wanting to do it...

Drop Kick Me Jesus Through The Goalposts Of Life Sadly, this is grammatical. There is a minor punctuation-error, though.
