I sound like this

...me I can't get the time free'd up. so I sound like this
I like tracks like this. I grew up listening to many an hour o' college radio to escape the repetitiveness of commercial-radio. All it needs is some percussion and a bit of bass. But it's worthy in its naked form, as well.

Yo audi, you should post that new jam you and Rod just did. and I want people to just bump and feel that first 25 seconds of ****ing sick beat. ...
Ask and ye' shall receive. My latest project -- not totally happy with the production, but it'll do for an impressive demo. SUR ROD - "THE BRASS RING": http://www.reverbnation.com/surrod/song/15924431-the-brass-ring-of-life Lyrics: Rod Music: Rod/Audi Produced By: Audi

audi, this is no offense to you or Rod, but I literally think I can rip off your riff at the beginning of the song and all of Rod's lyrics, and make it a better song! you want me to give it a run? and then you add drums and bass, and it'll be a 3 way venture? Rod can even add vocals, it'll more or less be a part2 of your song! or a cover of your song, but a way different take. definitely to pay tribute to some cool s**t. Are you and Rod down with giving me the okay to proceed? that beginning lick and drum beat is unreal to me, love it. and I've got it all in my head, I'm going to rap all Rod's lyrics much faster on a simple meter, and then use certain lines of his, elongated probably nearly exactly how he sings them currently, as the chorus. need to figure out which ones work best. lemme know on this! Tip of the cap back atchya
Yo AG I have my version of the lyrics done cannot wait to record this I was so sure I had it all figured out But life has a funny way of putting words in your mouth Your get your lessons in life I let my pride take control of me Nobody ever told me how to make right a phony thing I was so sure that I had it all figured out (guitar riff) But life has a funny way of putting words in your mouth (guitar riff) You get your lessons out of life You?ve got to fight to survive Just keep your eye on the prize You got to reach out and hold on it tight All through the night And through the grasping through strife you?ll grasp the brass ring of life I was walking on mines and exploding disarray freight and I?m treading through hellish trenches with every step that I take drawing my battle lines orphaned by fate and I was so sure that I had it all figured out (guitar riff) But life has a funny way of putting words in your mouth (guitar riff) You get your lessons out of life A stranger to myself until I figured my name out Now I?m rising like a phoenix can?t no wind put the flame out the game be gins with AG and Rod, their blaring it properly I wanna take you higher with a Canary Robbery Can you walk through the fire? Can you taste your desire? Can you rule empires and inspire? You get your lessons out of life...

OK, OK...I'm here, I'm here. Well, since Rod and I have already decided to re-record the song, it's cool with me. Rod -- on the other hand -- is the, let's say, "touchy" one. However, as the producer, I'd be quite curious to see/hear what you'd do with our blueprint.

Rod gives his blessing....

I sent you guys what i did, hilarious right? that was a good time, I totally understand Rod not wanting me to mess with his song, and I'd feel the same way. I wouldn't mess with it, just having fun, paying tribute really to a great song, and a great vibe in that one part, and just playing that out such a thrown together edit job though all over the place.. if I ever do a good one maybe I'll post it

You've given edgy, Linkin Park'ish vibe to the track. I defo see where you're going! Feelin' this!

Totally, I hear it as just a hard core guitar jam. very much like Lincoln Park meets Eminem or something.

Well...once again...ya' gots me thinkin'...asshole.

Dude it's you and your riffs, I automatically build songs around riffs like that I mean I flow it but its all Rods words too! His chorus is actually quite spooky. In my arrangement you could really fuk with that sound. Now I need to go back and really listen to yours and what you guys were going for, and forget mine

So have I still got you guys thinking over there now about arrangement possibilities? Your song is great as it it, I totally want to do a legit version of mine where I just play it live, eventually. just as a sweet side bar to yours a Green Bird venture I've got a great chunky guitar low riff too for this, that I can use in places
