NFL (American) Football

I am guessing that a few or more players might have just wanted to walk home ...... however long it would take to get there .... thinking about what happened or didn't happen .... The games were interesting ...... all the teams had the chance to win through the final minutes ..... not a blow out or a lopsided game in them.
-
Yes....both games were so close and exciting. I have a feeling the Superbowl will be the same.....right down to the end..
-
looks like another boring super bowl
-
I can see your point about it being boring if one of your teams is not in it.... The two teams playing will definitely have a very high viewing rating though

I'm not sure TV execs could've asked for a better situation

Lawrence Tynes and Steve Weatherford were signing autographs at the local Dunkin' Donuts today......line was about 2 1/2 hours. My two nieces went and had a great time. Go Giants!

Ok so I'm watching this "Football" on the BBC and they are picking the ball up with their HANDS! Can someone please explain what is going on? Seriously though, I would appreciate an explanation because I haven't a clue how the game works!

lol, welcome to US sports. Are you watching the Super Bowl, by chance? Basically, the idea is to physically injure the person who has the ball in their hands at any given time. It's like more organized rugby, with helmets and body pads.

Think of soccer with its sometimes inane rules, but with 30x more of them, plus rugby. That should give you a start to understanding...
-
I'll Google it, I get confused then they start drawing the imaginary lines on the pitch and stop every 30 seconds! "Soccer" has no rules compared to this madness!

hey, I live here & I don't like it. I just watch the commercials. And watch to see how bad madonna will be.

It's taken me about 10 years of watching to get it.

I don't want to get it...I don't like it. Run over here, slam, run there...who cares? I'd rather watch puppy bowl on animal planet.

They are running into and pushing people who don't even have the ball!!! Is that allowed??!!
