3 runs in the 9th by the red sox to beat my blue jays. we'll get you tonight.
LOL - actually in a way I hope you do. I'd like to see Daniel Bard pitch three stellar innings, then collapse - thereby indicating he's more suited as the closer...Right now, despite last night's better performance, the bullpen kinda sucks for the Sox right now.

South Florida? He wouldn't be offending anyone down there, would he? Actually, I'm not sure he's ever been a manager anywhere where he hasn't offended the local community in some way...LOL

I was listening to Chicago talk radio today & OMG! They reamed him a new one! Even when they won he raised a Venuzela (sp) flag rather than an American or even a White Sox flag. So people here are really ticked at the guy!

our bullpen isn't the best either when Santos has two blown saves already. and he's suppose to be our closer.

Congrats to Philip Humber who pitched a pefect game for the White Sox! Too bad that Fox blacked it out here but I was on the edge of my seat listening to the radio broadcast.

Wow - Mo Rivera's career could be over after he tore his ACL while shagging fly balls during batting practice. The guy is an all time great and I hope his career doesn't have to end on this note

How do they really make those designs in the grass? Totally can't be just cutting in different directions. Think it could be fertilizer?

It's not the arguing that will draw a suspension, but the helmet toss. But it was incidental, and not deliberate The ump should be accountable for those two calls that were clearly out of the strike zone. A thoughtful fan gave the ump a beer shower

Whether or not the calls were correct, the player will get a suspension. Way overreacted. I agree one pitch was borderline but the other definitely not a strike.

I agree. There is no need for that. But umps need to be accountable for their mistakes as well. That never happens.

As I understand it, their calls are compared with the sutomated strike zone and they are expected to agree at least a certain percentage. So why not just replace them with the machine?

Go Yankees OAKLAND, Calif. ? Mark Teixeira hit a two-run homer and a solo shot among his career high-tying four hits to back CC Sabathia's sixth win of the year, and the New York Yankees beat the Oakland Athletics 9-2 on Saturday for their fourth straight win. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/yankees/gametracker_yankees_at_mSA5AqrHpVuIVm5MywAenN

Laughing about the things you feel in your gut ..... and then seeing him walk away ... and wondering .... how ....? *when I saw the possible penalty .... I thought about some who have committed more serious crimes (on other issues ) and have gotten lesser time .... *The former pitcher faced a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine if convicted on all six counts.
