Not an expert but some beers are vegetarian and some cask ales are filtered through sturgeon fish bladders to get rid of the sediment etc....or summit like that! Isinglass is the name of the process I think....
You mean they release the fish back into the water intoxicated afterward?
That's why they always get hooked! har har har... :

I hadn't yet, as I'm still dead tired from the 3 1/2 hour drive home after the 3/12 hour drive there, and the 3 1/2 hour show. The Boss was a more enjoyable concert than I thought it would be. I didn't recognize hardly any songs as I'm a newbie Bruce fan, but still good. We just lost Johnny Pesky in Red Sox Nation, and Bruce rather graciously acknowledged Johnny at least three time during the show, which was appreciated by the Fenway crowd. He also did "Dirty Water," the unofficial Boston sports song. Very cool. And of course, he also ended with "Twist and Shout," and this time was able to finish the song. There were two idiots behind me who insisted on smoking in the non-smoking section and talking through the whole show in loud voices with thick Boston accents, however, which was a bit irritating, but the show itself was good. Thanks for asking.

I actually met a gentleman from Toronto at last night's show, oddly enough. He scheduled his family's vacation to coincide with the two Fenway and Foxboro shows, lol, and so he left them on Cape Cod and drove into Boston to catch the Boss. It was a great crowd, too. Loads of energy. I'll have a video of "Born to Run" posted on Twitter tonight or tomorrow--remind me and I'll post the link here.

Come September, when I can drink again, I want each and everyone of you to buy me a drink (including the fish) and I am going to drink each and every one of them!!
-
Do you serve Irn Bru at this bar?
-
Did you know that it' is illegal to import Irn Bru to Canada....it has to be specially modified to pass stringent food and drink laws in North America..... Makes you wonder what's in it that's scares the authorities so. T'would explain those Jock types who frequent this forum.....

Sounds interesting, now I want one even more. You can't get it anywhere here. But next year I'm going to Scotland and will finally have an Irn Bru (in the sun)

Peppy Tastes like you're drinking fizzy bubblegum.... There are many delights awaiting you in Scotland......but sadly none of them are posters on PM.com. If Macsslack offers to show you the Trossachs don't worry he's not being filthy and suggestive.....like he normally is!! It's a stunning area of upt north.
