OMG, I love that pic! (specifically Paul I mean)
-
My hair tends to be too curley..the bangs wanted to curle out. Made me look like I had horns!! until I began ironing them.. for awhile I made a mess of my hair, coloring it to make myself a strawberry blond and ironing damaged my hair! I am a dark haired woman and proud of it, seems Paul likes the long dark hair after all!!

I had a Beatle haircut from about age 10 to 15! Here I am at age 12 in '67 complete with paisley Nehru jacket & pants, sitting in the lotus position and flashing a peace sign! ...
Wow! You remind me of Paul in that televised interview from 1967 where he's discussing LSD, etc. Eery.
-
I remember those Nehru shirts! Mine had gold buttons. I, too, had a Beatles cut, and would you believe I recently got my hair cut in a similar fashion after years of mid length styles

Just without the moustache! Hey Mr. Grammar, it's spelled eerie! (well the #1 way to spell it anyway!)
-
Now..now, we'll have none of that here! Remember the bell bottoms..classic! and the wild polka dotted shirts? Seems like you could almost find a garage band playing on every block! Awe, the good ol' days! How I miss 'em!!!

Well, well. Hey, Ms. Grammar... ..."eerie" and "eery" may be used interchangeably. Just like "mustache" and "moustache."
-
Slumber parties..sock hops...drive-in movies. Awwwweee, the good ol' days! Now, anyone else?

Catching fireflies in a jar, playing Cowboys & Indians, riding bikes all over the place from dawn to dusk! And listening to real records and the (AM) radio stations (WIXY 1260, CKLW The Motor City!)
-
Just another memory..where I grew up there wasn't any radio stations that played our music and the closet one was in the big city, back then it was long distance to call! We always listened to WIFE AM..it was soo coool! About the sme time the first Transitor radios came out..looks BIG next to the mp3 players of today!

I'm 58 and, as a child, I used to live in the north of England 60 miles from Liverpool. My friend Barbara and I used to get the bus to Liverpool in the school holidays and go and help out Freda Kelly at the Beatles Fan Club, opening the mail and packing the Christmas records. Fantastic memories!

All together now... We are the original fans. We have the memories of the fab four before the break up. I may have been to young at the time to see the Beatles live but I lived in a time that will never come again.

I loved this song, way back before anybody here had heard of the Beatles..1962.
