I'm sad to read on that homepage that he's suffering "permanent damage." Is the benefit to assist with medical expenses? Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with any of the acts performing, but it's it's nice to see such a long list of artists participating.
Medical expenses...we have the good old NHS over here!

So good to hear of someone with such a good heart, like Van ! Glad to hear Henry's getting around better too!

That's very cool. So sad that Henry is in such weak shape, though. It does make one grateful that Paul and Ringo are still going strong (not to mention Denny Laine and most of the other ex-Wings).

It's very sad. When people are this sick, there are other expenses besides medical expenses, which I think are covered by the NHS--like what Van Morrison did with the shower. Makes life easier for Henry and his family.

The article made me cry with happiness to read that people did a benefit for Henry, and then Van Morrison stepped in and did such a beautiful thing to help make his life better. Being a caretaker like Josie is hard, physically and emotionally. I am glad he is still around and is doing as well as he can be. I send my Love and prayers to him and his loved ones.

It breaks my heart that he's no longer able to speak.

^ I know...sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are.

I just saw this encouraging tweet from Denny Seiwell:
My heart happy I spoke to HENRY Mccullough today for the first time since his heart attack some 16 months ago he sounded great up in spirit
